"Llegamos y oh! sorpresa el elevador no funciona. Somos adultos mayores y ellos lo sabían, ademas de que nuestro cuarto era en el ultimo piso para tener el balcón y la vista. No entiendo porque no nos avisaron con tiempo para cambiar de planes. Lo mas triste es que ni siquiera les importó un comino. Ahi tuvimos que empezar a buscar un hotel para quedarnos, cero interés en tratar de ayudar o al menos hacer alguna recomendación de donde podríamos ir. Nos sentimos perdidos y asustados. "Quiet location 5 minutes from the beach!Our host was responsive to any questions or concerns. Restaurants a plenty nearby!"

"House is nice in a great location, walk to the beach, town and many restaurants. Pool was great, living space was large. We had one issue the dishwasher would not start but the owner had it replaced the very next day, what great service"

"We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house! It was spacious enough for all 6 adults and 6 children, and everything was clean and well-maintained. The owners were very responsive and provided clear directions on everything, which made settling in a breeze. The location is great - easy access to beaches, restaurants, and ice cream spots! The pool was gorgeous and perfect for relaxing. Highly recommend for a family getaway!"

"First time visiting St. Simons and it was a trip to remember. Dave was the most amazing host. He communicated any and everything we may need before we even arrived. We had a small problem come up on the property and Dave sent maintenance to assist in a matter of 2 minutes, it was great! His hospitality is exceptional. I look forward to visiting St. Simons again and staying at Dave’s property. "

"Our stay at SSI was great! Shipwatch is an older property but met our needs. The beach was never crowded, the pool was always clean, and parking was easy to find. Bring a beach cart because it is a bit of a walk if you are hauling things to the beach with you. Ben was a great host! "

"Loved it! The house and host were both fantastic! Location is very convenient. Easy walk to beach access next to King & Prince, Crabdaddys, Fiddlers, Crab Trap & more!The house was recently renovated, so everything is clean and practically new. Layout works well for a large family or multiple families combined for a vacation. 2 primary suites. 1 on main, 1 upstairs. Both overlook the pool in front of house.We would definitely stay here again!"

"Would I stay here again? YESThis is a comfortable condo on the 2nd floor, and the pictures on VRBO are accurate. The owner was very helpful when couldn't find the entry codes. This is an issue with VRBO not the property. FYI, VRBO likes to use the app, but finding the room code is buried inside of several clicks. We never did find the gate code. Thankfully, the owner was able to provide us with the info and we had a great stay. "

"We had an amazing stay at Mary’s house! It’s a cute little 1930s cottage that has been updated. Close to East beach public access or simply walk along the dune path. Definitely adding this house to our favorites for when we’re ready for another quick run to SSI! The realty group that maintains the property were easy to work with! "
