"Hotel Avra is a no-frills, great-value hotel with a very acceptable restaurant right on the shore. It is 50m from a beach, 100m from the ferry dock and 150m from the most interesting part of Aegina town. And yet it is quiet with good insulation and a/c. The view from the balconies is as good as it gets and the location is superb. Elefteria is a friendly and helpful hostess and her staff are quietly efficient. There might be better Rooms on the island - but not for these prices."

It was perfect for us and our 11 year old daughter. The accommodation and grounds are stunning, and we loved the pool. The roof terrace views of the sunset would be worth the trip alone. The villa is in a superb location, five to ten minutes drive to the port. We loved every minute. "
