Not so close and a bit runned down
"Bed was too small and extremely hard. I was greeted by a wonderful helpful lady called Maya and thanks to her the stay was a bit more pleasant, but hotel is very runned down and noisy."

Lovely hotel but watch what’s included
"Low Wood Bay is a lovely hotel with amazing facilities. The room was spot on, restaurants top notch and spa facilities excellent. The only criticism I’d have is that even as a resident you need to pay extra to use the outdoor pool and hot tubs - that was a bit cheeky and also steep at £25 per person. ..."

"We had a fantastic stay in Ambleside, largely due to the location of this property. A 5 minute walk from the centre of town and lots of restaurants and pubs but far enough away from the centre to be private. Amazing views.
