"We loved our stay at El Placer! Quiet, comfortable home on an absolutely stunning beach! We took an amazing 8 mile (round trip) walk along the beach, and only met a few fishermen along the way. No other people for miles! A memorable day and experience! And Ricardo was a kind and very responsive host. Would absolutely recommend staying here! One thing to note: the mosquitoes can be quite nasty right around dusk, so remember to cover up and/or have bug spray handy. "

"Great family time with no distractions. Owner's communication was great. We had one issue that was resolved with 24 hours of sending the owner an email. Luis, the caretaker, and his wife were wonderful. They were really helpful, and we enjoyed meeting them and their son. "Mahahual is a great little village but now growing due to cruise ship visits. The house is about 8.5 k from the village down a very bad road with many huge potholes but we made it a few times in and out! The house itself was ok but it seems like it needs some TLC and maintenance. There is no oven or microwave so plan around that. There are many books however in a humid climate they suffer. "We totally enjoyed our stay at Villa Jaguar. Chris respond quickly and was always available. The condo was beautiful and very comfortable. The location was wonderful with a beautiful view. The beach is rocky and you have to walk about 10 minutes to town but the road was easy to walk. Town had wonderful food along the beach. Overall would definitely stay there again"
