"We arrived in the dark but were still able to locate the driveway by the signs near the road. The driveway is quite steep leading down to the property. Gwen greeted us in the lodge and provided all the details about the property and a waiver to sign. The cottage is up a flight of stairs from the parking area. Inside, everything was neat and clean. A WiFi hotspot was provided so we had internet access. Our stay was very comfortable and relaxing. We would stay again."

"This property was just as advertised and was perfect for our girls weekend! The location was within an easy walk of coffee, and restaurants. However, the coffee they provide in the house was better than the coffee from most coffee shops! If we get back to the Pittsburgh area again this will be our place to stay!"

"Requested an extra day at beginning of reservation (for family wedding) due to husband's discharge from hospital. Our children started to arrive the next day from Arizona. then New York and south central Pennsylvania. Being close to the wedding venue let other family members visit with my husband as he was unable to attend the wedding. We were there during a couple of snow storms. Drive way was plowed early the morning after each storm.The host was extemely accommodating to our situation."

"Quiet place to relax. The view from the deck is spectacular, the wildlife you see from the deck is stunning. Parking literally 10 feet from the front door makes unloading the car easy. "This place was perfect for our extended family gathering over Thanksgiving weekend. We had 12 adults and 7 kids (ages 1 month - 8 years). We had ample sleeping rooms for all of us, and the large dining area easily accommodated our crew. The living room with three large couches (we swiveled one from the fire place room around to the LR) was also a really nice gathering space. We used the game room lots. The kitchen was well equipped and we prepared and served a large dinner for the holiday. "

"Larry was attentive but the unit was very dirty when we arrived. Dirty floor, dirty bathroom (I will spare you the details), dusty and stained carpets. We heard animals in the wall the first night so we did not sleep in one of the rooms. I texted Larry in the morning and he came while we were out to look at it and "clean" the bathroom. Unfortunately, when we got back that evening we saw a mouse and felt so uncomfortable that we packed up and drove home. It was a real disappointment."
