"This is a very relaxing site on Lake Sturgeon. The large main room has a great view of the lake, which is just a few steps away. The house is stocked with plenty of kitchen supplies, plus many games and movies if you're stuck inside. The host, Stephen, is a warm and friendly man who will make things right if you should have any problems. "

"We ended up spending more at The Little Red Cottage than expected simply because it was such a lovely spot. The large front porch and back deck were perfect for lounging and conversation. " The unkept and neglected exterior led to a grubby interior. One of the plastic deck chairs was broken and unusable. Floors were dirty and left our socks grey; there was pink mould in the tub & shower stalls, black mould on the water level of one toilet and no one had cleaned the ceiling ventilation fans or behind the toilets in either bathroom. "This well appointed, comfortable and clean location was ideal for our 11 person, multi-generational family reunion. Everything was as advertised and interactions with Warren and Ron were friendly and efficient. Only caveat would be that stairs inside and out are steep, so might not be the best for people with mobility limitations."
