Superb and unique location (and inexpensive parking) in the epicenter of Epernay. Walking distance to eveything that matters. We didn't get to experience the market as our stay was too short, but the structure is amazing! We imagine the Saturday market is not to be missed! We were able to prepare two gourmet French meals in the well stocked kitchen with ingredients from the local grocery and Patisserie only steps away. The whole house was well cared for, super clean, and comfortable. We were even greeted by a smiling and attractive ambassador. Every detail is attended to down to air conditioning (rare in France, trust us) to an expresso coffee maker. We walked to everything. The Avenue of Champagne was around the corner and we came home to an amazing apartment every night. The bed so comfortable; we slept like babies. Favorite champagne house was, hands down, Boizel; cutting edge in the art of Champagnes and such a sweet, sweet and mesmerizing hostess! Further afield, gorgeous and historical Reinart in Reims. Not to be missed is Veuve Cliquot; the Grande Dame! Hats off to Sophie for sharing her wonderful home and caring for so many visitors!
