"The cottage was lovely and full of character. Warm and cosy, very comfortable. Lovely enclosed little garden, perfect for the dogs. Maia was a great host, provided lots of useful information about the surrounding area and great suggestions on places to visit. Kept in regular contact and quick to answer any questions. "The most idyllic cottage stay, exactly what I was looking for. Ideal location for quiet walks with my dogs in every direction from the cottage, didn't need to take the car out once! Liz was absolutely amazing, gave me some suggestions for local walks and communicated the check in process and cottage location. We will definitely be back. "

"What can we say ? An absolute find of a place ! Amazing weekend away with friends and this beautiful house absolutely made it. Place was so clean for us arriving, amazingly comfy beds and all facilities just perfect. The hot tub is a fab addition - a few of us were hardly out of it. Cannot recommend enough x "

"OMG....From the moment we walked through the front door it felt like our home away from home. The views are to die for and the peace and tranquility is unmatched. The hosts have seen that everthing you could need is already there. "Holmlea cottage is the perfect Base to visit the Edinburgh area and the highland region arround perth. The cottage was very clean and we loved the antiques inside. Freuchie is a perfect Base to visit the region, to visit Edinburgh by train also, next rail station is very close. Hosts are so kind and communication was easy and quick, we can write only best and positive feed back. Thanks for that great vacation time."

"Hated writing this one. Were huge on not caring too much about overall condition and usually go based on price concern with a balance of convenience, quiet and cleanliness. Great place if you can actually get it cheap and just need it a night or two. TONS of stairs, don’t book if you have a bunch of luggage or are by yourself and have several pieces to carry. "This property worked well for our group of 4 adults to explore St. Andrews and surrounding area. It was easy to access, street parking was a breeze, and the layout worked well for our group. The main floor bedrooms were comfortable. The one suggestion I would have is to provide an extra roll of toilet paper - we were a group of 4 for 2 nights and just finished the roll that was provided when we checked out."

"I can’t put into words how stunning this place is! The host had the place all decorated for Christmas since we were there for the festivities which was great as we had a little one with us. The house is very spacious and was spotless! Only bit of feedback I have is that the kitchen utensils could be doing with an update. I was cooking christmas dinner which was a bit harder as there was no working potato peeler and there was not a small knife to use, only large ones. There was also no whisk but...
