My husband and I celebrated our 48th wedding anniversary in this property. We brought our dog of course! This was a most pleasant experience. When first there I noticed it had a generator. That gave me assurance that if storms took out power we wouldn't be in the dark. Being our age it took away some worry. The first thing our ball obsessed dog smelled was a ball under the couch. He was so happy! There was also a toy for him there. The deck was great for throwing the ball and he could get great exercise running down to get it. We can only play ball for so long, so we would put the ball up for awhile. Over the next several days when we put the ball up, he would go explore the fenced yard and came up with four more balls. He was in seventh heaven! The other thing I truly loved was the black out curtains. It helped me sleep a little later. Not to mention the mini split in the bedroom helped me stay cool.Lastly, the location. I worried a bit about the gravel roads but, we had no problems. It was such a scenic drive! I wouldn't want to drive it the first time in the dark. But, totally cool after you get use to it. The other great thing about the location was access to the water. We had a short walk to the lake. Got to spend time there swimming and playing ball with the dog of course.I highly recommend this dawg house! Thanks for sharing your lovely lake house with us!
