"Our cabin was absolutely immaculate - not one negative. We walked 50 metres to the restaurant, best Chinese meal ever. Rotary ran raffles, complex absolutely packed so obviously Evans Head has a very supportive community. Great atmosphere, friendly locals - loved our stay in Evans Head - we will definitely return."

"The whole holiday was a wonderful experience. I wish it could have been longer, but we are already planning to return. The house was an ideal holiday home for us both and our pet dog who enjoyed the yard and the dog beach not far away. Evans Head itself is a very relaxing destination, with the beach, the bowlo, and areas nearby that we explored. The whole process of check-in/check out were simple and uncomplicated. Thanks for making our holiday an enjoyable experience Col & Rose"

"Overall the property was agreeable and we enjoyed our stay. The downsides were: limited toilet paper (perhaps a small issue but 3 rolls for a week is stingy - are we expected to provide our own?), there were no replacement rubbish bags for the rubbish and compost receptacles (again are we expected to provide our own?), the A/C is only in the main lounge/dining/kitchen room so the bedrooms with the queen beds were hot. The tower fan provided was completely inadequate it would struggle to blow out...

"Appliances inside the property need to be updated for example dishwasher door didn’t close, bbq is rusty would not cook my food on it, Hot plates did not get very hot and oven didn’t heat up at all and no regular drinking glasses if these were fixed or replaced would recommend this property to family and friends. A clothes dryer would of been nice to dry linen and towels for when it rains."

"I’m of the belief light should have working bulbs, grass in the barren back yard should be less than 50cms tall, doors should not be peeling. The photos are very very cleverly taken. It’s a lovely loungeroom area with a view with the most basic plain house and bedrooms tacked on the back. The access to downstairs is external and shabby. The back yard is a yard with grotty filthy concrete and long unkept grass. It is far from worth the money.the view was the redemption, it’s almost 3 weeks since...

"We really appreciated the opportunity to relax in this well presented house. The garden was a great spot for a cuppa & just listening to birdsong. The location made it walkable to all that we needed including the local pool & gym. We hope to visit again soon."

"With no ac it was very hot.. a few things were broken and no second gas bottle for second bbq.. did not make up sofa bed as I said 8 adults 2 children as it sleeps 10 it advertised.. So took sheets from other house I had booked to make up bsofa bed seems as though we had a few cancel last minute.."

"Staying across from IGA was terrible. Trucks start delivering from 4.30am and go all day. Front and back steps seemed very dangerous. Rooms had very poor lighting. The timber floor steps in each room are an accident waiting to happen ( i kicked my foot into one ) The flies overtook the kitchen (no screen door on back French doors. We won’t stay at this property again😭😭"

"We arrived to to a dark, cluttered smelling flat. The windows and front door have no fly screens so opening them was not an option, unless you like midgee and mosquito bites. The place was packed full of furniture so there was no space to move. Dead cockroaches decorated available surfaces. The outdoor back area was full of cobwebs and leaf matter and the yelping puppy next door completed the ambience. The bedroom fan didn’t work and there was no aircon. The first day a man knocks on the door...
