"A beautiful house in the mountains. The view is so stunning that no picture can do justice to it. It’s in the mountains, quiet, authentic and peaceful, yet close to Lucca, 10 minutes to the closest supermarket. Great gardens around the house, which are very well maintained. We were extremely well taken cared of By the owner Massimo. He was very kind and attentive. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. We hade more than everything we needed. It is very close to the gate to the walled city center, literally only minutes away. The accommodations were exactly as described. Checkin/out was very easy and convenient. Our trip to Tuscany included stays in four separate locations and Villa Buonamici was by far our favorite. Do yourself a favor and stay at this Villa, you won’t be disappointed."

Unfortunately, the drawback of the area is that the beaches are mostly fully reserved for the entire season by Italians from the city and so it is almost impossible to get a place in any of the beaches even or of peak season"

"The house was just what we were looking for, an oasis of tranquility. It is as it appears in the photos. Beautiful views and perfectly equipped house. Our dog was happy among the olive trees. Highlight how absolutely clean the house was. We did many excursions, we spent time in Luca all within short distance of the house. With car everything is at hand. "My husband and I drove from Naples to enjoy the beautiful Tuscany scenery amidst our travels throughout Italy. Unbeknownst to us, GPS guided us on a much different path than we expected. A narrow winding unpaved trail up the mountain side was not what we expected and we decided to work our way down before getting stuck on the mountain path with a flat tire. "Die Wohnung ist typisch toskanisch eingerichtet. Sämtliche Fotos sind ziemlich genau getroffen. Die Lage der Wohnung auf dem Gelände nahezu perfekt. Direkt am Pool - durch die tiefere Lage des Pools dennoch sehr ruhig. Man hat von der Terrasse und der Küche einen wunderbaren Blick über Lucca. "Es war wirklich einfach nur ein Traum. Es sind quasi 3 Wohnungen in Form von einem großen und einem kleinen Haus, die aber alle privat vermietet werden also man ist komplett privat auf dem Riesen Gelände. Es war noch viel schöner als auf den Fotos, Riesen Pool, Mega Aussicht, wirklich wunderschön. Alles war absolut sauber, Betten super bequem und perfekt ausgestattet. Absolut empfehlenswert. Die Gastgeber waren unglaublich lieb, Dierks wurde sogar ein unglaublich leckerer Kuchen vorbeigebracht....

"We had a wonderful week with our family. Giovanni is a very friendly and helpful host. The house is surrounded by so much beautiful nature. Having breakfast on the terrace with a stunning view over the Tuscan hills is like paradise. Still on walking distance you can find a bakery for a morning coffee, a pizzeria and other shops and it is only 10 minutes driving to Lucca center. The garden is enormous with endless possibilities both sun and shadow. If it gets too hot the swimming pool helps you...
