Tidy Home with Beautiful Views
Our stay could not have been easier. We needed a place close to family in FairPlay, so while the home is a bit off the beaten path, it was just what we wanted. The kitchen had everything we needed. The home was clean and there were more than enough towels, blankets, pillows, etc. We’d be happy to stay again.

Awesome house in the foothills
This is a great location about 10 mins from Fairplay. It's a nice house with plenty of room. It was clean and well appointed. Everything was in working order. We enjoyed views of the mountains from the deck and the quiet neighborhood. The well-stocked kitchen has both drip and Keurig coffee makers. The owners/property managers were responsive. On the last day, a big male moose hung out around the house for nearly 4 hours! We felt safe watching him from the deck and through the windows. It was an experience we will never forget! We highly recommend this property.

Great Cabin！
Overall, we are extremely satisfied with this property. Its location is fantastic, with easy access even in snowy conditions. We love the stove, it comes with enough fire wood stocked for our entire stay! However, one improvement we suggest is the AC/heater, as its noise level is quite loud. We recommend bringing earbuds for anyone sensitive to sound while sleeping.

Scenic View
The view of the mountains from the deck was beautiful. The yellow Aspen all around was great. The cabin was nice and provided most of the things needed to stay there. The wrought iron table and chairs on the deck were a little cold to sit in since the weather was somewhat chilly. There were a few things that we were concerned about regarding safety. The ladder going up to the loft did not have any handles at the top in order to get off of it and onto the upper floor. The gravel in the driveway slide down onto the entry porch which made it somewhat slippery to carry things from the car to the door. There were a few sharp corners that could cause injury. like the sharp tile corner on the shelf at the end of the tub. We enjoyed our stay at the cabin and the scenery was wonderful.

The cabin was exactly as shown in the listing and better. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking 'accessories' - even a crock pot!! Very clean, beautiful view, quiet neighborhood. Easy to communicate with questions before and during.

My family and I truly enjoyed this cabin for our vacation "basecamp"! Our week in the area was slightly dampered by bad weather, but even the days spent inside were eventful with several wildlife sightings. One day, in particular, we were visited by two bull moose. They bedded down 15 yards from the living room window for about 3 hours before giving us plenty of picture opportunities out of the bedroom windows at about 8 or 10 feet! It doesn't get much better than that! This property is definitely on our list for a possible return in the future! My thanks to all that made it possible!!!

From the minute we walked in, it was such a warm vibe. From the wood accents to the views outside, it was truly our cabin on the mountain! Very comfortable for 2 adults. Might be a little challenging for children because of the loft, loft access, and one bathroom. But great for 2. Neighborhood is good. Lots of wildlife. Good access to hiking and other outdoor activities. Wonderful views. Very relaxing.
