Being from the midwest, we absolutely enjoyed this secluded mountain home for our vacation. We loved the hot tub, the decore, the small stream out back, the puzzles/games, and how well stocked the kitchen is. The location worked very well as a launch pad for other daily activities. We enjoyed the Pennsylvania Mountain Trail nearby. Be aware that the back road getting to this property can be a bit rough and a truck/SUV is probably best suited for the trek.

the place was great. very very nice house. exactly as is pictured. we loves it. only negative was there was no firewood for fireplace and what is sold at the store is not good easy burning wood and expensive. would recomend that firewood be provided for guests is all. other than that the place was perfect. thank you so much.

Our family spends Christmas in the Colorado Mountains every year and have gone through this property management company a few times. They are great, and helps us get our presents to the home for when we arrive. This particular neighborhood is fantastic - great log cabins with privacy and fabulous views! They have the homes decorated with Christmas trees so you feel like you are at home.For this particular home, we would recommend the owner to consider purchasing new pillows - that was the only complaint we had!Highly recommended place for the winter but could see this as a fabulous option during the summer as well!

We really enjoyed our annual gathering in the Fairplay/Alma area. This cabin is the highest elevation we ever stayed (11,200 ft). The on and off snow was beautiful. The cabin is advertised. Very clean and comfortable. Also, one of the best kitchens we have come across. Hot tub was not as clean as it should have been which is why I knocked it one star.

We loved everything about the lodge and the location. Beautiful views, nice hot tub and plenty of hiking trails close by. Kitchen was equiped with everything needed (except potato peeler, scissors and bottle opener). Very comfirtal bed and furnature. Loved the accent furnature pieces. Lovedaccent furnature pieces.

Just average. Poor instructions to light gas heater in the basement. The door with the keypad was difficult to operate. The gas fireplace on the deck does not work.Won`t stay lit. out door grill cover needs replaced. No where to hang clothes in upstairs bedroom. The beds were very comfortable. We will look elsewhere when we return.

Terrific mountain house. Everything was in very good condition, comfy beds, etc. A few small complaints: I think a rental should have basic toiletries and some tissues, but at least they disclosed that. I would’ve preferred window coverings that blocked the morning light better. And it’d be helpful to know that the house is 20 minutes from the center of town.

Amazing weekend! Property was as advertised and in a perfect location with excellent views. Quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. Kitchen was fully stocked with every amenity you could want. 15 minutes after our arrival a mother moose and her calf showed up right by the front walkway. Lot's of wildlife visited over the weekend. Will definitely book this location again. Only suggestion is lock your vehicle. Final night there a bear got into my truck even though I had no food nor food packaging in there. Just a few minor scratches, lots of mud and a great story to add to the weekend!!

we rented this house because we wanted the quintessential CO experience. we had family come with us this year and usually do not rent such a large house. the amenities were nice, the kitchen was fully stocked and the hot tub was big enough for the entire family. the deck and privacy were amazing and we saw moose right off the deck. my only suggestion to the owners is that for 2500 a week we expected to get a good nights sleep and that was hard as the mattresses and pillows were very poor. the pillows were thin and the mattresses were not comfortable. we've stayed at many properties but this was one of the most expensive and at that price point i expected better. you also should leave directions for how to use the cable TV system as there was 4 remotes and it was wired for fire stick but the stick was missing.

The cabin was even better than we expected! I don’t think the pictures do it justice! Large open spaces, kitchen is huge with lots of things you wouldn’t expect in a VRBO. Beds were good ($5k mattresses? No! But certainly good enough!), great bathrooms and showers. The views from the deck and multi-story windows were just jaw dropping. No need to do anything else! Communication was excellent with very fast responses. I read several reviews that complained about the road up to the cabin…it is a REMOTE cabin over 11k feet up, of course the packed/gravel road up is bumpy! The description specifically says you need 4wd or more in winter. Our visit was early in the “summer” season so lots of snow melt happening that created some wash-out on the road. Because of that, it maybe took 15-17 minutes to get down, then another 3 to get into FairPlay. 20 total but only because the path requires a slow descent. Worth it though, as we saw 4 moose, elk, deer a bear! I think the only suggestion I would have is a new broom haha! I like to sweep daily, but the broom left a little to be desired…including a dust pan 😂 We will be back for sure!

The property was a beautiful cabin, excellent for hiking and sight seeing with access to lots of beautiful areas. The kitchen was well stocked and easy to use. The rooms were versatile for different groups and the beds were comfy with sheets and blankets whatever you need. Thanks to the owners and property managers that made booking easy, communicated well before and leading into the stay. We had an amazing stay and would gladly recommended to frienda and family and we would definitely be looking to stay again in the future!

My husband and I chose the house as it was far enough from Denver to feel like a getaway but not too far for travel time in the car. We had a nice time relaxing I the mountains and enjoy the home very much. The house was very comfortable and had a beautiful view from the deck.

The house was exactly as advertised. Fantastic views. Secluded but very accessible and an easy drive over to Breckenridge and Frisco. You for sure need the 4 wheel drive especially in the winter months. The house has everything you need to be comfortable.
