Lovely stay, great location
The property was ideal for the two of us for a one week stay, although we could happily have stayed longer.Great location to access Falmouth on foot and use the car to get further afield.Very accommodating host.

Pleasant stay in Felmouth
It was a very lovely flat with everything there you need for a nice holiday. Including some books about hiking and other activities in Cornwall. The landlords were very helpful and also gave good tips about what to do. The flat was very clean. When we arrived we were happy to find tea, milk, coffee and biscuits in the flat

A wonderful place
We were absolutely lucky about our stay in Falmouth. Buzzard's Rest is a very snug, beautiful and tranquil place to slow down and to visit Falmouth and all the enchanted places in the environment. Falmouth offers countless options for good food from different countries all over the world, snug pubs and for shopping.

De-stress trip to the sea
An extremely comfortable and well equipped apartment. Thÿs and Diana were very welcoming and informative about the local area and provided a generous welcome pack of refreshments after the long drive to Falmouth. Hugely appreciated. Buzzard's Rest was peaceful but also conveniently close to the town centre and Falmouth's beaches, either by car or by foot (15 minute walk). Hope to visit again.

Week in Falmouth
This was our first visit to Falmouth and we spent the week exploring this part of Cornwall . As members of the National trust and English Heritage we visited Pendennis Castle, Glendurgan Gardens and Trelissik Gardens . We used public transport and the Fal Ferry and found it was easy to get around. We had a day out in Penzance for the literary festival as well as time exploring the town. The appointment was excellent and well looked after. Most enjoyable

Lovely apartment and hosts
The apartment is delightful, clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. It's in a quiet peaceful road and looks out over a playing field, with distant views over Falmouth and to the countryside. It's about a 20 to 25 minute walk to Falmouth centre (bit longer back up the hill!), but the walk is interesting and we went down a different road each time. We found it hard to leave! Our hosts Diana and Thijs were very welcoming and friendly and clearly enjoy having guests. All in all a lovely few days!

Quiet location
Hosts are very welcoming, the property has everything you need and is very comfortable. The only negative for us was that it was too far from the centre of falmouth. Alrhough an easy route it is down a very steep hill.

A lovely long weekend
We really enjoyed our 4 night stay at Buzzard's Rest. The property is exactly as described and Diana was a lovely host. On hand to chat and help but very respectful of privacy too. The property is on a quiet street on the edge of Falmouth and a short (approx 15 min walk) to some great restaurants and pubs. It was perfect for us to use as a base for walking the SW Coast path and then pop into Falmouth in the evenings. We didn't eat in other than for breakfast but the property was very well equipped and we enjoyed a very good shower at the end of a long day's walking. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and would recommend to anyone reading this.

Wonderful property, very well equipped. Although the overall space was small, it was so well-designed it was like the TARDIS. Bed was comfortable, wardrobe and set of drawers in bedroom, shower was strong with plenty of hot water. Kitchen and living areas were more than functional with good appliances including fridge with freezer. All in all a lovely place to stay

A great place to explore beautiful Falmouth!
A lovely little upside down apartment with its own little balcony. Very clean and comfortable. I stayed over Christmas, to spend it with family who live around the corner, I know Falmouth well already but a great location to explore if you are new to the area. Perfect for two, and a great little retreat for me when I wanted some ‘time out’ over Christmas. Will definitely stay again, Diana was very welcoming and nothing was a bother.

Lovely place to stay
We spent a long weekend here, in Buzzards Rest. Perfect for us as a couple. It’s well equipped with everything you could need. A 15 minute walk into the town and the beaches. We were lucky to have amazing weather too. Would recommend this to anyone wanting to stay in Falmouth . Diane met us upon arrival, she was very friendly and helpful, and had kindly left some provisions in the flat for us. A great stay, thank you!

Wonderful holiday apartment
This property is a little gem! Very spacious for the two of us with every appliance you might need. Falmouth is a short 15 min walk but is quite steep but there are buses that we could have taken if we wanted. Very quiet area as well, over looking large playing field, which was only used once whilst we were there fir boys rugby practice. A loveky home fir a short break.

Beautiful, light well-equipped property, with lovely little terrace overlooking the rugby pitch. Comfortable bed, and easy to operate and very comfortable sofa bed. Our host Diana could not have provided better communication and came to chat to us during our stay to update us about the Tall Ships Parade. Highly recommended.

The Perfect Stay
Buzzard's Rest is easily one of the best holiday lets we've stayed in. Everything we could think of was provided and Diana and Thijs were so friendly and knowledgeable regarding the area. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The bed was nice and firm, the sofa was cosy and the decking area outside, overlooking the rugby field, was a lovely addition where we enjoyed a morning cuppa and bacon roll. We enjoyed many walks around the Falmouth area and will always fondly remember the challenge that the climb up Jacob's Ladder provided! Overall, it's impossible to give Buzzard's Rest anything less than five stars. Thanks to Diana and Thijs for allowing us to stay in their beautiful accommodation and, hopefully, we'll see you again sometime.
