The property itself is beautiful. The animals give a refreshing scenery out the kitchen window, and main area was comfortable and plentiful for our large family. Feeding the chickens scraps helped us feel at home, as fellow hobby farmers. We enjoyed having some availability of kitchen items to make home cooked meals, and comfortable seating and enough home space for everyone to have privacy. There were some pantry items and spices, etc available as well.
The beds were very comfortable and linens were fresh and clean. There were a few areas of mild concern that we shared with the host and she offered solutions accordingly.
The playground is nice but in rough shape (broken monkey bars, bugs) but the kiddos enjoyed it nonetheless. The large side yard was great for soccer games and getting the extra energy out. The host left suggestions for restaurants, a laundry mat and grocery. We enjoyed Howards for ice cream a few times in town and Two Rivers stone baked pizza DELICIOUS!
I would caution you, that the site is a campground type facility. There were several groups on the property and the bunk houses/camping facilities are right in your side yard so you experience everyone's noise, activities, etc. We also weren't sure where to go to visit the grounds as there were several other groups attending the same week we attended. We wanted to have quiet walks, etc and that was challenging due to the others at the facility and how they were always gathered throughout the property.
