Just what we needed
Comfortable, well equipped and in a great location for visiting busy Falmouth and beyond, while still enjoying some quiet winter calm and beautiful Cornish walks and scenery. We had breakfast on the deck one morning; a real treat in November! Great communication before during and after our stay. Thank you!

A wonderful location, the children had the most magical time✨ Well equipped and the layout was perfect. The previous stay didn’t leave the property particularly clean but that is absolutely not the owners fault. We look forward to staying again next year ☺️

A lovely week by Maenporth beach
We had a very relaxed stay at the Nook, a wonderful old beach property literally a stones throw from Maenporth beach. H our host was great, always very responsive to any questions we had and the stuff he send over about location etc was extremely helpful. If it wasn’t for the 9 hour drive there and back from Grantham, I’m sure we’d go back every year!

Great little shack, brilliant location
From start to finish a great stay! H was brilliant at keeping us informed of check in process and we found the shack clean and well stocked for all our needs. Located where it is on the beach made it a great stay! Falmouth town is less than 10 mins away so plenty to see and do! Our whole family enjoyed the trip and we will be visiting again in years to come!

Summer week away
The house is everything you need. All rooms are air conditioned and the facilities are terrific. The location is absolutely stunning. Just over a small road from the beach couldn't ask for a better location. It was a pleasure to stay here.

Great spot!
Amazing for anyone into paddleboarding, surfing or just walking on the beach. Some great caves to explore along the beach (but check the tides before you do!!). The house it is true, is definitely a shack but has most mod cons and much more than camping. My tip would be to put the heating on in the bedrooms about 1hr before bed and turn off after 30mins because the heating is that efficient. It's close enough for a couple to walk in and out of Falmouth in the summer and I can recommend The Shed. A great base to explore the South of Cornwall! The cove hasn't got a lifeguard but it was safe enough to swim with children in the mornings. Just be sure to make your own enquiries but we found it perfect. The best thing is not having to change on the beach. However, take your shoes off at the door and hoover up the sand regularly. We vsited Eden on the way back. Gorgeous.

Pre-Easter break by the sea
Proprty is the oldest timber frame shack in the local area, the decor reflects images of old style holidays - activity lead, sea (10 yards from the shack, South West Coastal path, 10 yards from the shack, and a plethora of vist location/activites within an hour 15 minutes. Property owner, excellent communicator, always available to help if needed. We will be happy to return.

Absolute Haven!
What a gem! Couldnt have asked for more from the 'love shack'. So spacious and has everything you need. Bringing your own bedding is such a small price to pay when its in such a wonderful, beautiful location. Thanks again for the opportunity 🙏

Amazing Place!
The Shack in Maenporth is incredible, lovely, and cozy with everything you could need bar the bedding and bits that you take yourself. Trust me when I say you won’t regret booking this little bolthole by the sea... Like literally a 30-second walk from a beautiful sandy beach in a cove that feels like you are miles away from civilisation but in reality you are just a short drive away from supermarkets and town. Hayden is very committed to making sure your stay goes without a hitch, and the communication is second to none. Thank you, Hayden, we will be back!
