"We did not actually stay at the apartment we rented. The apartment had flood and plumbing problem so the owners put us up in a lovely place for the 4 days. It was much bigger and we were not charged any extra. "

"Was a great stay in Galway. Liz & Peter were easy to communicate with! Location is perfect - close to everything. Gave 4 stars due to Bed is just really soft. Might just be me and my preference or perhaps it’s time for an upgrade. but just know it is before you come. Otherwise it’s a wonderful clean apt👍 "

"The laundry room was dirty. There were no instructions for using the stove, oven, water heater. No coffee maker and the kettle was corroded. The downstairs bathroom smelled awful. The beds were very uncomfortable. We tried to get an Uber but they refused to come to this address. The advertising of this house gave false expectations. The owners left a message that they needed to send an electrician to fix the dining area light. No one ever came so we had no light. "

"This property is brand new and in mint condition. It’s walkable to Galway City center, but it’s a long walk. I recommend the bus which is clean, inexpensive and runs frequently. This place was a great option for families with teens."

"Overall beautiful apartment everything we needed and clean. But the mattresses and couches were very disappointing. Even our children 4y.o and 6 y.o did not sleep because the springs stuck through every mattress. Hubby and I had to sleep in seperate beds just to find a comfy spot. Please replace the mattresses. "

It was a perfect location for either city visit in Galway, hiking tours in Connemara or just a few min. evening walk to the beach or nearby pub. "Fanore is a bit isolated but this is exactly what we wanted. We were able to relax and still explore the surrounding towns and nature attractions. Would highly recommend for a way to decompress. The house was comfortable and was more than enough space for a family of 4. As with any house there were a few quirks (hot water runs out after 15-20 minutes s you have to plan showers)- nothing that isn't easily managed. Highly recommend for a rural getaway in Western Ireland."

"The first night there was a party in the 3rd floor until 6 AM just below our apartment. We could not sleep at all and next day we had to leave early to the Cliffs of Moher. We finally complain in the reception the day after. They said that we should have told them the same night. Because this was an apartment, there was no telephone in the room to talk to the reception, which is in the hotel around the corner.
