"This is our second stay and it checks all the boxes for what was needed. The property manager allowed us an early check in as we were traveling from Texas. The property is always immaculate. The road is very rough with hills, but it doesn't have anything to do with the property. The property has all the amenities needed. I would stay again."

"This house was perfect for me and my brother to stay and our SIX kids. The air hockey and fooseball table were a hit! We loved that the floors were separated so that the adults could have some quiet time and the baby could nap. Also a huge bonus was having a crib there so I didn’t have to pack something for the baby to sleep in. It is conveniently located near boat launches, a gas station that provides the majority of necessities, and town if you can’t find what you need at the gas station! "Lakeside Retreat was the perfect home for visiting our Downsville family. It was clean, extremely well-stocked, had plenty of parking and felt like home. The open kitchen, dining, living room floorplan is so welcoming. We are ‘lake people’ and the front porch did not disappoint. Also, the Green Egg turned out 10 fine ribeyes. We will definitely keep this home in mind for our next visit. "
