"The overall experience at the Garden Rooms was good. We would return, though there were a few things which disappointed us. The large sliding doors to the outside were very difficult to open. We are not feeble but it was almost impossible to slide due to being very heavy and stiff. The room itself smelt very strong of wood smoke from the chimnea, we did not use it during our stay. Also, the couch was extremely stained, i assume from people sitting on it when wet after using the hottub. It...

"The location is superb right on the water. The house is lovely and had everything we needed! We had a slight issue gaining access, but the host was very responsive and helpful, so it was resolved immediately. Would definitely recommend and stay again, our toddler didn't want to leave!"

"I booked the property for my parents & their friend as a surprise getaway to relax. The first thing my parents commented on was how clean the property was and that it smelled amazing on arrival. "My friend and I found the cottage very comfortable and well equipped. Quiet location but an easy walk to the centre of Alnwick, the castle and gardens. Lovely fresh bread at the Lidl, a minute's walk away! Only about 10-15 mins from the beautiful Northumbian coastal path and beaches. Would certainly stay here again."
