Lovely home!
Spacious and well equipped. We had some minor issues but it was easy to contact the manager. The public beach was a short walk across the street and the bay gave us beautiful views and outstanding sunsets off the decks on the back of the townhouse. This is a four level property but the private elevator made it a non issue.

Fantastic Beach House in Fenwick Island
The house was modern, beautiful, clean and just about perfect for our vacation. The dryer didn't work very well, but certainly did not detract from the overall experience.

Dirty and not taken care of.
The house was filthy dirty upon check in and we even asked for them to come back and it was not a good job so we cleaned the house. The house is very worn out and really needs a deep clean and lots of TLC. Paint, to dry wall repairs and carpeting removed to mew furniture. A lot of money to spend and come to find the house not looking at all what we saw online. A big disappointment.

Two needed improvements
The brown couch is relatively worn. It needs replaced. Also, the outdoor shower needs cleaned. There is all kinds of debris in it and the hardware is in need of attention to assure working conditions.

We had a great stay at Fenwick Island. The view was great from the balcony and it was a short walk to the private dock and right across the street from the beach.

Beautiful views make this pet friendly property special
We got off to a bit of a rough start as the property needed some additional cleaning, but the manager was responsive and easy to work with. There are some repairs needed here, but we worked around them. The screens on the porch are torn, the refrigerator ice maker and water dispenser do not work, among a few other things. We brought our 2 dogs, our kids and grandchildren and we had a great time. The rental was roomy enough for everyone, close to the beach and had the most spectacular views.

We booked this property last minute and we did it with reservation based on the reviews. I emailed the management company ahead of time and notified them that I had read the reviews and would expect that any cleanliness issues or maintenance issued would be resolved. They did not respond. We arrived and stood in a very long line of the mass people checking into resort-quest properties. Lucklily everyone wore a mask and were trying to stand 6 feet apart. The line went pretty fast and check-in was easy. I just wasn't sure why in these times, they couldn't have done electronic check-in since it is just a code to get in. When we arrived someone was still there either cleaning or inspecting which was fine. We only waited a few minutes. But when we went in we quickly realized there was sand on all the floors and we proceeded to vacuum and clean ourselves rather than have to wait for another cleaning crew. Then we noticed that all the upholstered furniture including the master bedroom comforter were covered in dog hair. We proceeded to vacuum this as well. We don't have dogs, so this is somewhat off-putting to us. Resort quest did refund the cleaning fee when I complained. The house is very spacious and has an incredible sunset view every night and we thoroughly enjoyed that and the beach being just across the street. No walking trails though except one small one and really no place to walk except for along the highway. The pool was closed.The bikes that are a courtesy of the owner are all broken except one as are many of the beach chairs. The house needs a thorough cleaning and replacing of some furniture and some painting. The screen on the covered porch is ripped down. We still enjoyed ourselves a lot and knew that we booked last minute and realized why this one was not booked. I'm not sure that the management company is listening to these reviews or if the owner is seeing them. They seem like they manage so many properties, individual attention to detail is lost. I have had much better experiences in other properties.

Excellent place, calm, quiet, gorgeous views
Perfect if bringing a dog. We had a great time and enjoyed the kitchen and many decks.. plenty of seating and space. Kitchen supplies was plentiful. Downfalls: elevator needed the breaker flipped often to work, not many channels offered on cable, dryer doesnt work well.

Amazing location but rundown and dirty
I was concerned when we booked this reservation because a few reviews had said that the place was not well cleaned. We reached out - especially because of COVID - to ensure they place would be thoroughly cleaned. We arrived 2 hours after we received the notice that our property was ready and the cleaning people were still in the house. There were 2 bedrooms that did not have sheets (we paid for linens) so they had to bring those to us. When we got inside, there were crumbs on nightstands and the kitchen looked like it had not been cleaned at all (as well as the elevator and a few other places). The screen in the screened porch is ripped, the garbage disposal broked, the dyer was not working correctly. The last thing was that there were ants but I get that because it happens down here but it is still gross (especially when the kitchen is not cleaned). I will say that the management company was incredibly responsive. They sent someone out to reclean the property. They came to try to fix everything we complained about (but we never did get a screened porch and the dryer could not be fixed). We did love the place but it really is rundown and needs to be fixed up a little.

Ringing in the New Year!
Typically, you don't go to the beach for New Years but this place with its peaceful surroundings, wonderful views and space galore to accommodate kids and family's collective or separate celebrations was perfect. The place is as picture, with very few flaws (if any) I would reccommend and indeed visit again!

We loved our stay at Salt Meadows. We will definitely be coming back to the Fenwick Island Condo. Very spacious and our family vacation was complete by us all being able to stay at the same place. The Condo had just the right extras for us. Like the two person kayak and propane grill. Overall a great pick!

Lovely House and Location but Dirty interior!
Loved everything except the level of cleanliness, especially the kitchen. All surfaces were dirty and grimy! Cabinets were especially grimy and obviously not cleaned for a very long time!!! There’s a review from 2018 that states the same thing, so the cleaners here do a lousy job and need to be trained on how to really clean! Attention to detail is 100% lacking. I had to go buy cleaning stuff before we could do anything in the kitchen!!! Absolutely appalling in my opinion. Mold in the master bath too!!

Amazing waterfront views - would visit again!
Recently enjoyed a lovely family vacation at this location: Pros (lots!) Large condo, very spacious full of natural light. Lots of room for family. AMAZING decks on all levels with nice chairs/recliners to view bay and sunsets. Highlight! Ginormous 1 BR suite on 4th floor (WAS the entire 4th floor) Comfortable beds. Lots of storage areas. Elevator a nice plus - lots of steps (4 floors). Neighborhood nice/respectful/family oriented. Outside very clean and lawn/trash well maintained. Short trail to community pavilion with pier overlooking bay. Nice place to sit -birds, dragonflies and ospreys. Dog friendly; minimal dog waste seen on trail. Dog waste bags on trail but one note - Wasps took up residency behind bag dispensing unit. I got swarmed and stung once. But, I notified Maint and they responded very quickly. Community pool a nice bonus - small but clean and very accessible. Adequate parking for 3 cars (3 only or you will be towed). Keyless entry - front door and garage (codes) - helpful and allows folks to come and go easily. Supplies available in garage - chairs, grill, kayak, umbrella, chairs, ping pong table etc. More than we expected. Located in Fenwick State park area so you can take dogs on beach across street at all times. Town of Fenwick very close with shops etc. Kayak rental very close. Rental agency very responsive. We ordered linens but were not present and they brought very quickly. Cons (not many): Condo was adequately clean, but not super clean. It was good overall, but for those that want spotless, here are examples: lint left in dryer, some dusty vents in bathroom/hall, toilet bowls could have been cleaner, random screws and pins on the floor in various places (?). There seemed to be an issue with some of the electrical outlets not working. Not major, but probably needs to be looked at. We had a cooling issue with A/C initially - but it was VERY hot outside and likely due to open doors when moving in. They seem to be aware of this and give you pointers to manage. There were 3 coffee makers but not all of them worked - but enough to find one that did! Hose in garage has split near nozzle - but just folded and used that instead. Ocean is close - just across street but a bit daunting to cross as very busy and no cross walk. But became easy quite quickly and you can always just have someone drive across street and drop you off. Overall, impressed with this condo/location and would rent again!

Good location, but.....
Quite disappointed with this rental. It was dirty! Looked like years of grime that were barely surfaced cleaned. Our hands stuck to the banister on the stairs. The kitchen counter and cupboards were full of ants.The floor in the shower was filthy. The furniture and bed comforters smelled. We are not picky, fussy people but do expect our vacation rentals to be clean.
