The host was gracious enough to allow us to have the 2 dogs of which we were very thankful for. Even though there was no air conditioning, there were plenty of fans throughput the house. That deck was also very pleasant to sit on with those great tall trees for shade"

"The property itself was clean and in good working order. Check in was easy. Ample linens, silverware, cleaning supplies and dried wood available onsite. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the bunk beds, loft area, outdoor rocking chairs and fire pit. There’s no freezer, oven, or formal dining area. The one coffee table needs replaced. "Air conditioning" apparently meant two window units and no central air which wasnt ideal for little kids trying to sleep. The only towels for the property were stacked and still completely wet in a closet so we had no clean towels. "We had a wonderful time at John and Kathleen's home. The house was comfortable with lots of seating, plenty of kitchen equipment, a great layout and lots of natural light. Our favorite part was the outdoor space and the covered seating looking out over the creek. The location was an easy drive into town. Overall I would recommend this home for a relaxing family getaway."

"We had a great time at the cabin. Close to Ligonier and lots of hiking and family friendly outings. Space was perfect for our family. Two bathrooms and two bedrooms made it easy for adult and child. Highlight was watching the sunset and eating s'mores at the cabin. Cabin has easy parking, really comfortable space, and was well situated to get to all the the things. Wonderful communication from the hosts. We would stay here again if in the area. "
