"Me and my friends stayed here for 3 nights and loved the house. The easy access to the lake was great. The pontoon boat available to rent is well worth the money as it is a very nice and newer boat. House was clean and much larger than it looks in the photos. Will definitely consider staying here again for our next lakehouse trip!"

"Overall, Haworth Cottage is wonderful...the house has lots of cozy charm & we loved all the eclectic decor, very fun! It probably should be mentioned the bedrooms & bath are upstairs, in case someone has knee issues. And not sure it's completely safe to walk the area at night, but daytime seems okay. Very close to Millikin and would be a delight for anyone visiting the University."

"Our family enjoyed this historic home near Milliken University. It was so nice to have a place to "come home to" during our time in Decatur. This home gave us plenty of room to comfortably relax and I enjoyed having a kitchen and dining room for meals. Our host responded promptly to any inquiries. "I came with two friends to shop and experience Amish Country. The house was perfect. We ate breakfast there both mornings and had aupper there in evenings. Walked to main street both days and loved all the shops. Drove out in the country, ate at Yoder’s, shopped at the Bulk market, took a buggy ride. We are coming back soon."

"This location was absolutely perfect for a peaceful and relaxing weekend! The sunsets were beautiful! The cabin was exactly as described and I instantly felt at home. The owners live nearby and were available if needed. The kitchen and bathroom is well stocked. On our drive home we talked about hopefully being able to rent the cabin again in the future. "

The house was very welcoming, smelled amazing, and was decorating nice.The host was exceptional and made sure all of my needs were met. The fact that the essentials were provided plus some made my stay even better. I didnt have to worry about packing everything under the sun because it was already there. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to visit Mattoon. "

"We had a nice stay at the Holiday House. The decorations made it extra fun! We had 3 adults and 5 small kids — it was nice to let the kids play with toys and in the yard while adults hung out. The hosts were great! We had no issues with our stay, but the hosts were quick to respond when we asked for a recommendation for St. Patrick’s Day festivities."
