"I give this 4 stars and not 5 for only a single reason. The description is missing two key points of info. 1. This is a basement for rent and not a full house. People do live just up the stairs. 2. There is not a kitchen if you’re thinking of cooking. Only a mini fridge and a microwave with a small sink. That worked for me for my trip, but was unexpected when we arrived and could have been a planning issue. The owner was responsive and a great guy. Would recommend genuinely for a quiet stay. "

"This review is a little delayed due to internet issues in the wake of Hurricane Helene. We Planned this trip for our 40th Anniversary as we love the area. When we arrived and turned on the drive leading up to the cabin, it was as if we had driven into a painting passing loaded Apple trees and a beautifully decorated gate dressed for fall. "Beautiful neighborhood close to everything. Well appointed home! Quiet and comfortable. Would suggest a few blinds on windows in main living area as homes are close together and did not feel comfortable for privacy purposes. No soap for bathing or dishwashing items where available upon arrival. Just went to store to purchase. Shower stopped working in 2nd bathroom but tub was available. Did not call maintenance for this. Had problems getting temperature comfortable due to high tec thermostat....

"This place is now our favorite lake getaway. Small and very cozy with well-stocked kitchen with all you need to cook your meals. The owner is wonderful and very easy to contact.
