We just got back from our 4 night stay.
The good:
The house was lovely, surrounded by trees, and very much had a cabin feeling. The fire pit was lovely. The master bed was comfortable, and the room was very nice. Actually, all the bedrooms were very nice, and the lounge area upstairs worked well to give the kids a space to hang out, while the grown-ups hung out downstairs. The wood stove would be very cozy in the winter. Plenty of dishes and silverware. The fridge was large and spacious. Plenty of counter space. Multiple TVs, so everyone could relax and watch what they wanted to watch.
The bad:
We did not realize that the owners other two rentals were right next to it. Had they been occupied, it might not have been as peaceful. One of the "bedrooms" is really just a bed outside of a private bedroom, in a loft area with couches and a TV. In the listing, it looked like that loft area was private. We didn't realize it connected to all the bedrooms. The bathroom was huge, but the house could use a second bathroom. The kitchen was nice, but needed some basics, such as plastic wrap, more paper towels, more trash bags, aluminum foil, some tupperware with lids that fit it, etc. We purchased this stuff ourselves, so not a huge deal, just a bit inconvenient. The balcony upstairs wasn't used very much because the cushions were torn and dirty, and there was a hornets nest up there.
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would return again.
