"This stay was perfection. The photos are exactly what you get on arrival. The house was very clean, the beds were comfortable, the instructions were clear, check-out expectations were fair and basic, and the kitchen was well-stocked. We used the hot tub, grill and fire pit - and all were great. We stayed for three nights and could have easily - and happily - stayed for many more."

My husband and I plan on going back very soon! To be honest, my husband and I could just live there!It was super quiet! The cabin is well taken care of and was super clean! "My partner and I had a great stay here. The place was exactly as described and very clean. We loved relaxing outside and taking in the beautiful scenery. The location was directly between the towns of Luray and Fort Royal so there was always a good spot to go for a bite to eat. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to the area."

"Had a wonderful stay at the Walden. Found the cabin to be neat and clean. Check in process was simple with lock box and code provided just prior to arrival. The location feels secluded although there are neighbors you can’t see them and rarely hear them. The private spot on the river is perfect for fishing, floating and wading. Can’t wait to go back. "

"An absolute gem of a house! Everything was incredibly clean and the location was perfect. About 45 minutes from Thornton Gap entrance to Shenandoah Ntl Park, which was perfect for us. And the view from the hot tub out back is unbeatable!"

"My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Green River Home. Great cozy getaway cabin, driving distance or brief hike away from the river. Very quiet and tucked into a forested ridge with a nice small campfire spot. Everything was as listed and there was a detailed booklet telling everything about the cabin and local area. "

No major issues with the cabin, nice views, quiet location & dog friendly (huge plus!)It was the perfect size, they had plenty of dishes in the kitchen & some seasonings to use. A few pans looked like they weren’t cleaned all the way but we just rewashed them before use, no big deal. Huge dvd selection was awesome! Water pressure in the shower was nice & bed was comfortable. The only thing that could have used some improvement was the lighting...

"Los servicios estan siendo muy afectados debido a su remodelacion el olor del polvo de la construcción se siente bastante. La presión del agua de la ducha se encuentra débil al intentar accesar al internet indica que se debe hacer un pago adicional & el menú de desayuno es uno limitado, para el costo del mismo y todas los contratiempos mencionados siento que no valio la pena la elección de este hotel. Muy lamentable debido que es una de mis cadenas preferidas."
