Lovely Getaway from the Hustle and Bustle

My friends and I very much enjoyed our stay on the property. Enjoyed the fishing, animals and peace out there around the camp fire. Cozy little house for us to play cards and tell stories in the early morning and late evening.

Perfect for what we wanted.

Had a girls trip to the country to relax and it was every bit of what we wanted. Feeding cows, playing with goats, fishing and PARKER! He was the sweetest dog. Perfect description. The Gomez Family are great. Communication is great super friendly. No complaints. I will definitely be bringing my family back.THANK YOU!!

Wonderful experience

There were four of us that stayed at the farm And we all agreed that this was a wonderful experience. It was so nice to wake up and walk out onto the front porch to listen to the world waking up. Very nice and secluded. We were lucky enough to get a tour of the farm and the garden which was actually a highlight of the stay for me. We did walk the nature trails and enjoyed that very much also. Highly recommend this place for anybody staying in the area

Beautiful space

Everything at this stay was perfect. We went on the self guided tour of the farm which was easy to follow and such a great surprise! The house is well kept and had everything we needed, and I can't say enough about how nice the scenery was. The owners have put a lot of work into their space, and their respect for the land is abundant. I had nothing but good times during our short stay.

Palestine Fishing Trip

The Cabin had everything we needed for our stay. It was just an overnight trip for a Bass Tournament so we didn't get to enjoy the farm but the cabin was clean and stocked just as advertised.

We had a wonderful time with my teenage son and his friends. Hiking is near the house. The house was clean and had anything you’d want. Owners are responsive and right there if you have any questions.

Great experience during Thanksgiving

Sweet stay

This cabin has everything you need! My boyfriend and I took a quick trip to get out of the city and this place was so charming! We grilled, and a cute farm dog came up and hung out with us almost the whole night, which was quite the bonus. We really enjoyed our stay and only wish it was a little longer so we could check everything out!

Making an 8yr olds weekend

Had to put together once last trip before school started and Al no was given was, a cabin on the woods, hiking trails, have to see animals, and be close to swimming. This property checked every box! The scavenger hunt and friendly pupper dog were just cherries on the cake! Me and my family had the best time at this hidden gem!

The Gomez Family Farm is a great experience. Jannette and Ray are very responsive and friendly.

Enjoyed the space, the quite, while still being only about 20 minutes to Tyler. We got to know Ray and Jannette and hope to see them again. Stay with confidence, treat the place with respect and you will be treated very well. The economics of the place are that it cost less than a decent hotel room. Leave the porch light on if you are getting back after dark. It makes it easier to find.

Quite Get away.

Owners go above and beyond to make the experience wonderful. Great to take walks. Enjoy the animals. Enjoy the peace and quiet. It's still close to several towns. Plenty to do. Highly recommend.

A Great Mom's Retreat

My friends and I decided me needed a stay cation and decided this cabin would be perfect! We were able to relax, enjoy nature and overall get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Will definitely return!

nice getaway with fishing and trails!

Enjoyed a short one-night stay at this property and really enjoyed the opportunities to walk the trails and for my son to catch some catfish. We had a failed attempt at starting a fire I presume because of wet wood from recent rains but would have really enjoyed the firepit otherwise. As noted in the listing, the only bathroom is downstairs and all beds are upstairs, so just be sure you are ok with that arrangement. Beds seemed to range in comfort but were suitable for our needs. Was great to enjoy some fresh air and time outside.
