"The house was lovely and well appointed. It was clean and we really only needed to bring food and beach towels for our stay. They even left us smores fixings. Our favorite part was the back deck that looked out over the water. It was nice to sit out there in the mornings, play games, and use the fire pit. "Property was very good. I only have two very minor comments. Apparently the water heater was set conservatively since the shower water temperature was a bit cooler than I would have liked. The property requested the dish washer be run upon checkout, but I couldn't find any dishwasher detergent pods. (I ran it anyway and left a note about no pods.) Overall, very good and I would certainly stay there again."

"We had the best long weekend! The home was gorgeous and very very clean. It was decorated beautifully. It was stoked with all essentials. The hostess was so kind and so easy to communicate with. We rented a boat at Nick’s. We had a great day on the lake. We will definitely be back!"

"Picturesque, peaceful, relaxing, I could go on and on. Great location with plenty of beds, a great pool, fishing pond, and some of the best views I’ve ever seen. Kitchen was well stocked, great internet, property owner was close by whenever we needed anything. Highly recommended!"

"We stayed at this home for a weekend getaway. The property was well maintained and comfortable and the outside deck/yard are perfect for hosting BBQ and sitting around the fire. The marina and boat launch were convenient and just a few minutes away from the house which quick and easy lake access to launch the boat and get the lake days started! Our stay was excellent! Would recommend! "

"Terrific house! Minutes from Rough River Lake boat ramp and state park. Restaurants and convenience stores nearby also. well equipped kitchen and grill made cooking easy. There is a path that leads down to the water. No dock, but we were able to tie our boat up and leave overnight with no issues."

"The property was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. The kitchen was stocked with all the dishes/pans you need for cooking. Coffee is only a keurig with no pods provided and we had brought ground coffee. We used the docks and they were easy to walk to. The lake is pretty. Not much lake view from the deck in summer due to trees. The boat ramp is super convenient if you need it. Little dave’s about 10 minutes away was great pizza and breakfast. There is a general store nearby also. Check in...
