"The property was beautiful"

"They are clearly taking advantage of Covid-19. Only 1 restaurant open. Not a full menu. No restaurants open for breakfast. No room cleaning service. No fresh towels. Even if I was to exchange the used towels. No garbage pick up. I was lead to believe that my room was walking distance to everything. It wasn't! It wasn't even on the main property. It was a good 5 minute drive & minimum half hour walk. The room was quaint. Way too many restrictions on everything. No sauna or steam...

"We loved our stay in Rutherfordton and were taken great care of by our hosts, Ben and Lori! We were welcomed in to a peaceful, clean, well organized home away from home. Our agenda was to relax and prepare for our granddaughter's wedding without chaos. Everything to make that possible was right there at our fingertips without any hustle and hassle. "Nice House, Lots of room for the 7 of us. Well stocked with condiments, dishes, pots & pans, etc. Communication with the owner was very good. The resort area was really nice. We enjoyed the lake & the pool. Be aware that you may lose internet up there from time to time and evidently being in the middle of the mountains cell phone coverage is very limited. There is more coverage as you go down to the Rumbling Bald Resort area which is really close. We enjoyed our stay there and hope to go back...

"We arrived late Friday and the night desk person was awesome helping us get checked in. Everyone we encountered that weekend was polite and very helpful. We will stay there again if we cone back through there. "

"I like the location and the beautiful woods outside on the back balcony. However, the decor and furniture look like it came from a museum the 80s. Also, I was unlucky enough to be on the lower unit of the two and had very noisy neighbors, which is not too good with a wooden floor and also a connecting door that I had to put cushions up against deaden their noise. This is not the hotels fault I understand that, but beware if you get a unit that’s on the lower floor of the villas. "

"The worst hotel that they have recommended to me. The bathroom is dirty, the toilet has urine inside and around the edges, no toilet paper, no towels, the shower has used soap and is full of hair. I made a complaint and nothing happened, and to top it off they wanted to charge me a $100 deposit and the room cost me $113. It is really an abuse. I regret having lost my $113. Please do not recommend it anymore. "
