Elizabeth Beach Long Weekend
We spent the June Long Weekend in Betinas Elizabeth Beach House. The house was clean with an extremely well equipped kitchen. The beds were comfortable, the deck was large with plenty of seating and Betina was quick to answer questions and very informative. It was only a short walk to the beach and we also enjoyed the spa. Thank you for helping create wonderful weekend for my family.

Our stay at oasis was a lovely long weekend stay. Was very comfortable and convenient accommodation close to cafe, shops and beaches. I’d recommend staying here and will most definitely stay here again

Amazing location close to the beach
The Deck is a short walk to the stunning Elizabeth Beach, and a drive to Blueys and Boomerang beach. We adore this area and were very lucky with the weather. The Deck is well equipped and comfortable and perfect for a family weekend trip.

Lovely big home conveniently located
Had a fantastic long weekend with family. Beach, booth booti trail and weekend markets within 5min walk. Furniture is a little dated but house has all amenities needed. There was some dust around the place so plenty of sneezing. Spa was a hit with the kids, especially on cooler days when the beach was a no go.

Relaxing and connected to nature
The Deck is in a great location, close to beaches, the lack and some nice clubs, yet you still feel immersed in nature. The place is set up well and has some friendly kookaburras that kept us company in the late afternoon. Recommend.

Family vacay vibes
We stayed at The Deck for a Family Christmas - the property was well equipped for everything we needed, especially given we were hosting Christmas lunch for us all and within walking distance (for the young ones!) to the gorgeous Elizabeth Beach! Also to the infamous ‘Reccy Club’ for sunset nibbles and cocktails!! Everything was as described in the add, The outdoor spa and warm shower were an absolute treat, paired with the huge deck for endless hours of outside fun! Would recommend to all of my family and friends - only downside was the onslaught of mosquitoes and bugs, but that is the consequence of backing onto such a beautiful rainforest! Definitely recommend the property but that you also pack bug spray, coils and candles!!

Excellent stay
Betina has been amazing and very accommodating. The property was fantastic, although the weather wasn’t the best we found the house to be very comfortable and had everything we needed. Was so great to spend quality time with family in such a beautiful place. Thanks for everything Betina.

Beautiful House
We booked this accommodation for our wedding to stay with our bridal party. The house was perfect! Its located so close to Elizabeth beach, has a beautiful leafy backyard and an impressive deck. The host Betina also was exceptional to communicate with and even gifted us a celebratory bottle of bubbles. We will be coming back!

Great house great holiday
Betina is a great host that takes pride in her home and it shows, the house was perfect for us, and walking distance to Elizabeth beach which is a perfect patrolled beach for our kids. The house had everything we needed including thing to bake a cake for my daughters birthday. The outside shower was awesome and was so good to clean the kids off - they used this shower more than inside again had everything we needed. The only slight down side was no dryer, but that’s not a big issues just need to pack extra beach towels in case it rains and hard to dry. We will definitely book the deck again next time we go to Elizabeth beach - Oh and the house had awesome internet service !! Thanks again Betina for having us in your lovely home it was perfect

The Deck, Pacific Palms
The house was in a central spot in Pacific Palms, walking distance to the beach and a very short car ride to the boat ramp and Rec Club. House was very clean and well laid out as far as sleeping arrangements go, 2 bedrooms upstairs and the bunk room with the 4th bedroom downstairs if you were looking to get away from the rest of the crew staying with you! Plenty of undershelter parking under the house, street parking was pretty skinny if your group has too many cars. Rained the weekend we were there but this wanst a problem with plenty of room inside and out on the verandah for our group. The Hot tub and out door shower ( with hot water!) were a big hit. Would be happy to book it again.

We enjoyed our stay.
We didn't appreciate the man across the road coming over and abusing us in the foulest language and in front of the children about a party that we didn't even have. There were three of us talking on the veranda, no music or anything. Actually we were that quiet we had a visit from a possum with a baby on her back. Otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed the house and Elizabeth Beach.

The Deck is in a great location, peaceful and quiet and within walking distance to the beach and Rec Club for dinner. House was large enough for multiple families and kids, with good kids room set up so they can all be together. Downfalls would be no TV reception or kids DVD's provided for rainy day entertainment. Conflicting information was given regarding expectations around cleaning before leaving and I was unsure if COVID safe standards were being adhered to. Also, providing our own doona covers didnt make a lot of sense to me and was inconvenient to change over each bed at the beginning and end of our stay. These few small changes would provide for a more relaxing stay.

Great long weekend getaway
Great location, short walk to the beach. Lovely outdoor deck area. Comfy beds. A little bit dirty and the dishwasher is hopeless. But overall a good house for a family weekend away.

Great location, no wifi
While this property is big, spacious and held our group of 8 comfortably, it could do with revised cleaning procedures and better maintenance checks. The bathrooms were tidy but clearly had not been properly cleaned between guests and the toilet cistern downstairs leaked constantly so we were wading through water each time we used it. No wifi and no phone reception should be called out on site ad. Downstairs mattress very lumpy and uncomfortable. Great location but needs refreshing and updating for the price.

Good house for a big group
This is a good house for a big group in Lyons different ages. Three queen bedrooms and one bunk room including 2 x bunk beds with queen on the bottom, single on top, and a queen loft bed. It has a bit of a “summer camp” feel to it. The deck is adjacent to a bush area so bring mozzie coils and spray. Cicadas were extremely loud in summer 2020/21 but that could have been from all the rain. The second bathroom is the laundry downstairs. There is no dryer so if it rains you’ll hang all your clothes out inside. Great location and the nearby caravan park now does coffee! 👍

The Deck is incredibly well suited for large families or small groups looking for an extended stay in a quiet beachside neighbourhood. Elizabeth Beach is only 7-8 minutes walk away and is a simply stunning piece of coast... got some great waves too! The house is really well stocked, particularly for self-catering. Lot’s of room, great sleeping options, easy to keep clean, under cover parking. The outdoor (hot and cold) shower and spa are an added treat. Super clear instructions from our host, Bettina. Looking forward to visiting again.

Fabulous coastal retreat
We had such a great time. The property is so spacious and well equipped for large groups. Proximity to the beach was fabulous. The kids had their own space and the huge balcony was a highlight. The spa was a treat too.
