Long weekend in Fort Collins

Our stay with Danny and Dee was wonderful. The property was as described in the listing and they are excellent hosts. Spending mornings on the patio drinking coffee and watching the chickens was awesome. Thanks again for sharing your special location with us.

Absolutely Wonderful

We stayed at The Colorado Modern Cabin on our way home from a month-long roadtrip. We tent-camped most of the way so this was an incredible, luxurious, refreshing stay for us. We visited Rocky Mountain National Park, which was 1 hour away, and we only drove 4 or 5 minutes to get groceries. The cabin had absolutely everything we needed. The kids loved playing with/petting Amigo the dog, Rosie the cat, and the new baby chicks! My husband and I enjoyed a cozy fireside chat on the back porch with a beautiful, clear view of the starry sky. Everything was very clean and homey feeling. Owners were available and willing to help with anything. Thank you so much, Danny and Dee!

Fantastic stay in Fort Collins

Our family had a wonderful stay at the cabin. A rural setting yet only minutes from the heart of town. Very relaxing, super clean and a very cool cabin design and furnishings. We loved it!

Perfect spot

We greatly enjoyed our stay. This property is in a great location—easy to get to Old Town, City Park, Horsetooth Reservoir, the Poudre River—but also quiet & has a rural feel. Bonus, the owners provided delicious farm fresh eggs (in this economy!!) & some local beers. We would happily stay again!

Absolutely a beautiful home that was perfectly built for a vacation visit. Surrounding property was quiet, safe, with a rustic farm atmosphere with easy access and parking. Home was set up with all you could need and owner was excellent with directions and communication. Simply a fabulous stay.

Perfect Stay!

Needed a place for my wife and I to stay while visiting our daughter at CSU. 7 minutes to campus. Radiant heat flooring, propane fire pit looking west at mountains and sunset, and perfectly clean home. Great hosts! Thank you!

The best dreamy VRBO ever!!!

Words cannot express the absolute perfection of this rental. From the ease of check in to the super clean home, it was amazing. The owners are just outstanding and Amigo just warmed our hearts. I was hesitant leaving such a great review bc I want this place to be available during my visits. If I could have given it more than 5 stars, I definitely would!

Bucolic and heavenly

I live in Silicon Valley CA and I’ve been to Fort Collins many times before, but this trip was especially memorable as I was able to stay in this lovely cabin and have my two sons visit me. What a great getaway from the hustle and bustle of where I live. I can’t wait to return for my next visit! So grateful to the gracious hosts for creating such a lovely, relaxing experience.

Ideal location

We stayed here for three nights and it was the ideal location for our needs. It was close to the state parks as well as the downtown area. It feels like you're halfway in the country and the city. The hosts were friendly and the entire check-in/check-out process was a breeze with good communication. They have thought of nearly everything to make your stay comfortable and inviting. The entire place was immaculately clean and I'm picky. We loved having fresh eggs for breakfast and watching the chicken wonder around the yard. The kitchen is stocked with most any item you'd need to prepare meals for yourself. There is no bathtub, but we didn't need on. The walk-in shower is large and comfortable. The bed is on the firm size, but not too hard. There were plenty of towels, pillows, and blankets. I was afraid the cement floor would be cold until I realized that the floors are heated! I would definetly stay here again.

Very comfortable

Ideal for two people! Amazing radiant heat kept us warm the whole time when it was 25 degrees outside. Very light and bright with big windows and in a quiet neighborhood! Even had coffee and cream for us! Highly recommend!!

Wonderful!

This property is perfect! It's beautiful and quiet, clean and bright. It had everything we needed. The owners are very nice and very helpful. I loved the eclectic neighborhood. Easy drive to "Old Town" Fort Collins or the foothills. Great place to walk. I highly recommend.

Quiet Stay in Ft. Collins

I thoroughly enjoyed staying at this property. It is the perfect place for 1 or 2 guests. This property is well maintained, with up to date appliances and amenities. This house is perfection!

Ours was a short stay in Fort Collins but we wished we could stay longer because of the property. So beautifully done, easy to find and central to what we were doing in Colorado. Our days were long and tiring and it was the perfect place to land and relax after those kind of days. Would absolutely love to go back and stay!

Quiet Neighborhood

This is a really nice place. They did a great job in getting the place ready, and it has all the amenities you need. Location is in a very quiet neighborhood, a little off the beaten path, but still close to everything in Fort Collins.

Wonderful place!

We stayed here four weeks and it was perfect! Gas fireplace, heated floors, comfortable bed, big shower, beautiful sunrises, views of the foothills. This place is in town but away enough to be very quiet and dark enough at night to see a full sky of stars.

Seriously, the best!

Where do I start? I’m not exaggerating when I say this is the best rental I’ve ever stayed in, and I travel A LOT. The hosts have done such an amazing job of making this place a “home away from home.” The unit was beautiful and clean, and looked even better than the photos! They provide you everything you need to be comfortable, and give you a first class experience all the way! They responded to any questions I had in minutes, and were nothing short of amazing. If you are in Fort Collins for a visit, you wouldn’t be doing your trip justice if you miss out on staying at this beautiful little cottage. Thanks again you guys, I had the best time and will definitely be back.
