"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Magnolia is a beautiful well furnished home. We were lucky enough to have gotten lots of snow during our stay. It was so beautiful!! I would suggest additional heating on/in the main level bedrooms. There was a dramatic difference in that part of the house. Lots of "It's freezing back here" comments. space heaters would have been most welcome! We kept the thermostat at 70 lest the upstairs get too warm. "The Gathering Place was such a great property with suberb hosts. I was most impressed with communication from the owners and the tips and details they provided before our arrival. "Loved the house and the hot tub. Everything was very clean. Comfortable beds, good pillows. Location was great too-- quiet, no traffic, polite/quiet neighbors. We had a maintenance issue the first night but it was promptly seen to by management and we were very appreciative. I might suggest a small vacuum in the place-- the sand and gravel from the area around the hot tub gets everywhere-- but other than that, no complaints. We will definitely be back."

"I have brought my Youth Group here for the 3rd year in a row and it is becoming a favorite destination! While the house does have its little quirks, like years old carpet stains and mismatching light bulbs, we have come back year after year and have seen things improve around the house.
