"The room was very clean and comfortable with all the amenities needed for a pleasant stay. The staff were friendly and accommodating with tips about the local area. Proximity to Crater Lake Park made it a good home base for visits. The restaurant at the casino across the parking lot was convenient with good food and there was a travel center across the parking lot as well. I would recommend this hotel. "

"Clean and recently renovated motel adjacent to a well appointed convenience store and fuel station. An excellent option (and probably the only option…) to stay close to Crater Lake National Park’s south entrance and get an early start on the trails. Rooms are « basic » (and also clean and comfortable) but given the location way out in the country side, it is every bit of what you need for a good night sleep while not being at the Ritz."

"House was immaculate and easy to find. Easy check-in and great communication with Terri. Kitchen had everything needed to prepare some simple meals. Just wish I had known that you need to walk through the first floor bedroom to get to the stairs to the second floor, which means that first bedroom is not private. Luckily, we were all good friends so we dealt!"

"The house itself was roomy and comfortable for 3 friends in the area to explore Crater Lake. Kitchen was well appointed but some dishes had been put away not cleaned or n some cases clean but not dried. The biggest issue it was very hot, no A/C in the house which would have been less of an issue if there had been enough fans -- at least one for each bedroom. Lynda (host) was very responsive on questions and wish all hosts were that thorough in instructions and quick to respond. With more fans...

"We stayed 2 nights and used this cabin as our home base for visiting Crater Lake which was approximately 30 minutes away depending on where at the Lake you plan to go. It was perfect for the two of us. Watching the steer in the field was a different kind of experience. The host left us a pound of ground beef in the freezer that we gladly enjoyed after a long day of hiking. I loved how quiet the location is and also how many stars you can see from the back porch. "

"Lovely view of the mountains and the creek. Enjoyed listening to the Owls and some good sized splashes in the creek during the nite. Location is handy to Crater Lake and to Klamath Falls but you will be out in the "country" so bring your own supplies to avoid a drive. Kitchen space is limited. A plumbing issue was resolved quickly and professionally by the host. We had a good time. "

"My husband and I stayed here for an anniversary trip to Crater Lake. We arrived in the evening. Check-in was easy, the place was immediately inviting. We loved the interior, and the location was perfect - tons to do in that area! BUT, the negative is the exterior did not appear to be maintained at all. "The matriarch of the family, adult children, adult grandkids, and great-grandkids enjoyed the weekend cooking, re-visiting childhood locations and memories in the Union Creek area, and a trip to Crater Lake. The Host was VERY accomodating with pre-trip questions and information. Having family pets, and multiple places for all members to relax and enjoy the time together was exactly what was needed. To be extended family in this large house was a blessing."
