"My family and I decided to rent this home to celebrate my 60th birthday and it couldn't have been more perfect. The home is absolutely beautiful and is only 2 minutes out of town. I was a little apprehensive about the train tracks being so close to the house but there were only about 6 trains a day which was not disturbing at all. We would love to come back."

"This was a great location for a couple days of flint hills sightseeing. It was really nice to be just 15 minutes from Manhattan restaurants and close to the scenic byway. The hosts thought of everything you need for a cozy stay and the bathroom was like a little spa retreat. We had a great stay!"

"This beautifully restored bit of history made for a wonderful family vacation to attend the baptism of our grandson. 5 family members stayed here with plenty of room to spread out. The hosts have thought of everything. I loved having the gas stove to cook on and there were plenty of pots, pans and dishes. I believe I had the best night's sleep that I've ever had at a VRBO. "This property was perfect for our trip. The proximity to the KSU stadium was amazing- close enough to walk. The location has an amazing backyard that will keep the young & old entertained. "Great spot just down the street from the boat dock. House was clean and worked well for 8 of us. Not sure you could sleep 12 unless you brought air mattresses. Breaker kept blowing in the kitchen, but easy access to flip it back on. Host was wonderful, provided great communication and very flexible. Would Recommend for a fun lake weekend!"

"My 15 year old son and I stayed here for a week while he attended a tennis day camp at KSU. The property and grounds are beautiful and very quiet! The loft is gorgeous inside, and you really feel like you are staying in a castle. I highly recommend this property and will be booking it again!"
