Blue Agave Bungalow
This rental was awesome and was stocked with everything we needed. The beds were very comfy. The towels smelled so good, I am very sensitive to smells and end up bringing my own towels but at this cozy home everything was awesome including the nice smell of the clean towels. Thank you very much for sharing your cute cozy home. We loved it!

Beautiful Home
Very clean and updated home. Close proximity to town. The only drawback is there isn’t much left in Ft Davis. We traveled to Alpine to eat and shop.

Close to our favorite things
We have been to Ft. Davis many times and this was our first time to stay at this property. It was perfect for what we needed with easy access to the state park, the fort, and McDonald Observatory. The host was very communicative and helpful.

Great stay in Big Bend Country!
We used the place as a base to explore Fort Davis, Alpine, and Marfa. Went to Star Party at McDonald Observatory as well. This is a great location and the house is just a few blocks from downtown Fort Davis. House was great, even better than described online, and central air was huge blessing when temperatures hit 100 outside. Not much to do in Fort Davis though. And most of the local restaurants either close after lunch or are out of business altogether. That said, this was a great location as a base. We stayed two nights and then headed to Big Bend for the remainder of the trip.

Sunset Home
The house was comfortable, clean, and well-stocked. Sunsets from the back patio were especially enjoyable. Although near a state highway, it is a very quiet location. The shower could be improved by the addition of grab bars or at least a slip-resist bathmat because it has a very slick floor. Addition of a wine bottle opener in the kitchen would also be desirable. Those are literally the only things we found wanting.

Great place
This is the 3rd time we have stayed at the Blue Agave and like the last 2 times it was an absolutely wonderful experience. Very comfortable cottage that is very well maintained. Really appreciate the owner letting us bring our dogs. Not too many place allow that in Fort Davis. We will return again. One concern was the lock box that the key was in. We got the key out just fine but we could get the key back in the lock box or reinsert the lock box. So I had to leave the key under the doormat when we departed. We also noticed a few dead roaches every morning. No live ones just dead ones. These are minor details and would not prevent us from returning. We look forward to our visit next year.

An Oasis
The home was spotless, thoughtfully furnished, and the kitchen was well equipped for cooking. The front porch, behind the adobe walls with the cool grass and breeze was our and our puppies favorite place to enjoy the evening and the spectacular stars.

Great place in Fort Davis
My husband and I spent 2 nights in the Blue Agave - it was perfect home away from home while we enjoyed the MacDonald Observatory - dark skies and the Davis Mountains State Park. Everything you need there and in a great location.

Very good location
We enjoyed our week stay here. The house was perfect for us and our 2 dogs. I enjoyed jogging the neighborhood in the mornings and walking our dogs. The house is close to Fort Davis park which was a plus. We hiked daily in the park and we enjoyed a variety of migrating birds in the area.

The Blue Agave was a wonderful experience. It was beautifully decorated, very clean, well stocked and appointed and very comfortable. Definitely we would stay here again upon returning to Ft. Davis. Thanks to Blue Agave for helping to make our stay so enjoyable.

Our experience in Fort Davis
Good yard for the Dog even had dog bowls. Lots of bathroom amenities AC worked well. Walking distance to Main Street. Clean. Just an fyi, the bath with the shower is located at the other end of the house. . But, we got used to it and overall, we had a very good experience!

We were in town for events at the McDonald Observatory. This location was great - close enough to Mt Locke but also convenient to the restaurants in Ft Davis. We arrived a little early and they were very nice in letting us come by a bit early. Would definitely stay there again!
