Originally this trip was a chance for my husband and I to spend spring break with our daughter and grandkids, ( 17, 12, 3).
But the week before my 84 yr old mother entered the hospital seriously ill and declined quickly passing on Monday morning the 13th, just 2 days prior to our trip.
The trip turned out to be a beautiful place to let God hold me, and in the midst of heartache and find moments of Joy, and laughter, and just rest.
Although the weather was cold the kids were able to take the paddle boat and Kayaks out on the lake, make stores, and ping pong on the deck.
Our 3 year old granddaughter ask if she could live there with her mom.
Highly recommend this home to anyone. Would live to go back in warmer weather .
