Florida stay
It was a nice property. The visitors upstairs were a little loud. The pull out bed not very comfy. Close to the ocean but not as close as i thought it would be. Overall very clean unit.

Enjoyable Stay
Enjoyed our stay. Quiet and relaxing. Property was clean and owner was prompt on replying to any messages. Everyone was very friendly. The only downside was that while there was a ramp going up to the beach, there was only steps down to the actual beach itself. Made it hard to get the wagon down.

We didn’t enjoy our stay here
The bed was lumpy and uncomfortable, the sheets were piling and pillow covers are yellowing, it was disgusting. Also the couch can’t sit more than 1 child because it would squeak and sink. The ceiling was so low, i felt like a giant in a Smurf house. Above all, the pool door slamming noise every 10 mins until 10:30pm was unbearable. It was impossible to relax. The air conditioning smelled like old air-freshener each time the air blew. The bathtub didn’t drain well and some parts of the floor was dirty. Our feet were brown after walking around barefoot just for a little bit upon checking in to organize our stuff. The place including the whole community is really dated, and I knew it was a bit older unit, but the owners could definitely do a better job making this a more comfortable place with better quality furniture and clean sheets. Walking to the beach is not pedestrian friendly. There is no sidewalk and I felt really nervous walking with our child. Also the tram service to the beach ends early at 4:30pm. After sleeping 1 night, we left the next day at 8am cutting our trip short. I dont recommend this place unless your standard of a vacation is staying at motel6. Pro: Paul is nice, and the beach is pristine.

quaint cute unit with a great location
This unit was clean, comfortable and offered everything we were looking for. The property offers great amenities , pool, tennis, basketball court (which our son loved) + walkable to the beach . There is also a free beach tram . The host is super responsive too

Great spot for small family
My college=aged daughter is an intern in Miramar beach this summer, so I brought my parents, who are in their 70s for a long weekend. This condo was perfect for us! With their challenges with walking, being on the first floor and super close to walk out to the pool was SO convenient! It was updated, clean and just what we needed.

Florida retreat
Our stay was exactly what we were looking for. The condo had everything we needed for the beach, the kitchen was well stocked for cooking, the pool is just steps away and a cozy porch to sit out and enjoy the tranquility of the water fountain. Close to great public beaches, restaurants, and shopping if that is what you are looking for. Also there are some nice public parks nearby.

Perfect for a couple
Rental was wonderful. We really appreciate the clean unit - especially the floors. It is really nice to be able to walk in the unit and not have our feet get dirty so quickly. We also appreciate plenty of towels and the portioned dishwasher and washing machine soaps. It is also rare to have washing machine soap available - thank you. Owner was responsive. Check in was easy and being able to enter the unit with a code and not having to carry a key is a nice option. Pool was steps away and was clean and cool. The beach was a short walk. A perfect unit for a couple.

Exploring the area.
First time in the Destin area. Heard how beautiful the beaches are. They truly are beautiful, but the January weather made it tough to enjoy. Hidden Dunes is in a convenient location for shopping and restaurants. Very nice people, who have been staying there for years.

Decent but a few issues
Kitchen & living room look nice but the VERY LOW CEILINGS in this unit make it caveish. Bedroom has a saggy mattress & a strong deodorizer smell that hits you every time the a/c clicks on while your laying in the bed (Deal breaker for me). We could not identify where the smell was coming from & I hated breathing it all night long. Possibly cleaning supplies are stored near the unit intake, but the wall behind the bed reeks of it. A dust mop ran under the bed once in awhile would be helpful too (I dropped something ewww). Porch needs good cleaning with pressure washer & screens fixed. Didn't enjoy sitting out there.

Excellent!
My husband and I stayed here with our 3 month old baby! We come to hidden dunes resort yearly and are thankful to have found this gem of a place within the resort! Perfect for couples or small families, great location, short 5 minute walk to the beach, directly next to large pool and grill area. The place was VERY clean and everything you could need was provided. Host Paul was extremely accommodating during our stay! 10/10 place, we will be back!

Third Straight Year and it keeps getting better!
This was our third straight year to stay here and we love it! Close to the beach and VERY close to the pool! Perfect for our little family. Extremely clean! Great communication with Mr. Paul. Away from all the chaos of "downtown" Destin, but still an easy drive to Harbor Walk and all the restaurants. We love Baytowne Warf as well! I'm sure there will be a fourth stay in our future!! Thank you again for sharing your beach cottage with us!
