"My long time friend and I decided to get away for a few days, it was at last minute idea. We decided to go to Fountain City/Winona area to be by the river and see that part of Wisconsin/Mn. Enjoyed our time to relax and shop. The Farmhouse apartment is very nice and is exactly as described. If you love old charm in a small town, you will enjoy your stay. "

"This house was great! We were down to visit my son at Winona State University for the weekend. Fountain City was the perfect cute little river town and it was a short drive away. The house was cozy, clean, quiet, and well stocked. Beds were very comfortable and the host is very accomodating and always seeking to improve, which shows great character. We will definitely stay again! "

"We really enjoyed the stay. Darling place that’s close to Winona and cute places in Fountain City. We did wine tasting in town, went to the oldest continuously operating Pub in Wisconsin, sat on the patio and listened to live music with a drink overlooking the river. Went biking and hiking and explored the area. We loved being able to have our two dogs with us!!"

"Great house for our family group of 12. The kitchens were well stocked for cooking, which we did a lot of. The house was very comfortably furnished. It was easy to gather as a large group in the family room or dining room, but also lots of space to be by one's self. The last morning of our stay, we all ended up in the front room just talking before we left."

"When we first walked into the place and fumbled for a light switch, we saw a marvelous kitchen where everything had a descriptive label. We were quickly able to bypass the usual "Hey, where are the silverware?" complications immediately. Multi-switch panels are also clearly labeled as to their function. Convenient! "We had a very comfortable stay at Toddy's cabin. It was the earliest days of a temperature drop and a bit of chilly weather. We were able to quickly turn on the fireplace and warm up and felt cozy in this peaceful place. It is completely silent at night except for the occasional passing train. We hope to return some day, it perfectly met our needs for exploring the area. "

"Absolutely loved this cabin stay for our family! Clean, quick drive to whitewater state park for day adventures, and so nice to come back and enjoy the time at the cabin. Bathrooms were great and clean! Nice to have running warm water for our toddler along for the trip. Will definitely be considering booking again! :)"

"Our stay was very relaxing! We love this area. The cabin was very comfy and nicely decorated. Our communication with the owner was effortless and we had questions answered within minutes. The only possible negatives are the number of steps to get to the bedroom (which was a room with a very comfortable bed and gorgeous riverview) and getting onto the dock. Depending on your mobility, this could be a problem. We definitely want to stay here again!"

"The condo was exactly like the pictures. It had everything we needed and the bed was extremely comfortable. The location right on Main street was in walking distance to everything...restaurants, a brewery, shops and the National Eagle Center. We will definitely here again. It was perfect! "

"The cabin is beautiful in a very private area. It had everything we needed for a much needed break from our chaotic work lives. Very nice to be able to sit outside at night in complete silence and gaze at the stars to unwind. Would definitely recommend!"
