Loved this property!
We had the most amazing weekend away at Saddleback Cottage. The place was perfect, and the location was the ideal spot to enjoy the peaceful surroundings for a few days. We will definitely be back!

Relaxing Retreat with Spectacular Countryside Views
What amazing views! Just like out of a painting. The perfect place to relax and leave the city behind. The cottage was modern, cosy and had everything you could want for a short stay. It was an easy drive to Crooked River Winery for a lovely long lunch.

Majestic location
Hi Bridget, Wanted to thank you for the stay at lovely property. Whilst the weather was pretty bad, these types of weekends away are still great..... We appreciated the very nice food and drink you stocked the place with! The views were amazing!

Fabulous peaceful and relaxing stay. Glimpses of kangaroos and lots of black cockatoos. Spectacular views. Luxurious deep bath. Thanks for the jump start so we could leave !

5 stars not enough to describe the fantastic view. Clean, very comfortable, and relaxing. Already discussing when we can do our next stay. Instructions for directions to property very accurate. What a location, views of the ocean and the green countryside of foxground. A short drive from Sydney located between berry and Gerringong, lots to do. The cottage was well laid out and had everything we needed. We will be back.

This is the perfect location to enjoy peace, exploring and offering rural with closeness of the beaches. Saddleback was spotless and provided everything we needed. Modern rural living. Did not expect the cabin to be a studio and kitchen work area too small. The bath in the shower is too deep (as per previous comments) and an accident waiting to happen.

Terrific experience!
We loved our stay at the cottage. Great location and such a relaxing few days away. Kitchen ammenities were stocked well, allowing us to cook breakfast and dinner. Cheeseboard and wine on arrival was a lovely touch. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area, we would love to stay again!

The Cottage on the Hill
From the moment you arrive you will be in awe of the sheer tranquility of the cottage. So beautifully decorated with everything you could possibly need for your time away. The view from the veranda was simply stunning, with views of the surrounding hills and a view of the ocean. A great breakfast Hamper and a bottle of local wine and cheeses on arrival, you just can’t ask for more. It’s also only minutes away from Berry Gerringong and Kiama ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Spent a few days relaxing in the area and enjoying the view. Have stayed before and planning to come back next year. Constructive feedback: Deck was a bit dirty. Cushions for deck chairs were missing. Water leaks from the shower. Everything else is wonderful - thank you

Marvelous country retreat
Upon arriving at the cottage, a bottle of local wine and cheeses awaited us, while a fresh loaf of bread, local jams, butter and cereal/milk were there for breakfast. We had a bbq dinner each night and only needed to bring condiments. Bed was super comfortable and a selection of games, books and dvds were available. Clean air, magpies warbling competing with all manner of birds, mournful bellowing of cattle in the late arvo, kangaroos lolling around in the sun, fog rolling in over the escarpment. This cottage had everything we required to get away from Sydney for a weekend.
