Great spot

So many whales!!!
The front deck has an amazing view! We saw so many whales breaching and playing. The property had everything we needed and was well looked after. The pub for a tasty dinner is a short walk away. Thank you for an amazing stay!

Great holiiday
Our stay at sandjunes was great. It’s a great beach shack with beautiful water views from the versnda and lovely sea breezes. It was good to be disconnected from tbe outside world and get back to family time. Sandjunes has your basic amenities which is all you need it was good to be off the grid and anything extra we needed eg fan. It was battery operated and a shop/restaurant around tbe corner for good food. Bree the owner who is on site is just lovely to have a chat with and very easy to get along. I would highly rate this place if you want a holiday that us a bit more environmentally friendly

Great K’gari accommodation
This is the second year on a row the five of us have stayed at Sandjunes on our annual K’gari tailor fishing trip. Bree is great to work with and the location near the beach and the shop is ideal. The house is well set up, the kitchen is functional, the beds are ok and the double bed in its own room is ideal for the tallest member of a group or the champion snorer. We’ve already decided on Sandjunes for our 2024 trip.

IT has an amazing view of the beach, and the whales passing in the surf. We love to be with nature, and relax without technology. It provides us with exactly what we needed for a complete break.

Sandjunes on K'gari
Our family had a delightful stay in Sandjunes, a beautiful high set home with a dreamy view of the beach and waves. Despite the somewhat inclement weather, there was plenty to do & see and a cosy cabin to which to return. We enjoyed soaking up the outdoor atmosphere from the wrap around verandah, a delight of 🐦 bird activities and some whale watching🐋. The house was clean and functional. Bree was on hand to share local knowledge.

Lovely stay in spacious clean accommodation
We really enjoyed our stay, Sandjunes was very clean, quite and the location was perfect just 250m from the beach we could here the ocean. We felt close to nature in the surroundings. Bree was an excellent host and really friendly.

Lovely house in a great location
Lovely older style house in a fantastic location. Ocean views from balcony, cleanest BBQ I have used in a holiday let property, letting contact person is very communicative and helpful, house nice and clean. Good facilities with a fridge and chest freezer, good kitchen with gas stove (4 burner), gas grill and gas oven. Highly recommend.

Fantastic, loved it
Bree was really nice to me and my family. We stayed there just before Xmas and my partner was 7 months pregnant. I was concerned the house would be too hot after reading the add about no fans or aircon, so I bought a battery fan with me. I didn’t even need the fan because of the cool breeze that constantly ran through the high elevated house. The house represented it self as the information provided on the ad and the view knocks your socks off when you first see it. A view of coconut trees Beach and the ocean all on offer. It’s almost impossible not to open a beer and sit there to enjoy it. Thanks Bree for the wonderful holiday and we will see you again another time!

Overall good, house is basic, but comfortable, (needs new lounge tho, so old and not comfortable) outside needs maintenance. View is very good.
