Oh Deer!
Highlight of our stay was the continued visits of deer. They were a pleasure to watch . We bought a 50# sack of corn and used it in three days. The deer were happy and were waiting for us to step outside.

45th Wedding Anniversary Trip
The trip was a huge success. Not only was the cabin just as we wanted but they had wine, chocolate strawberries, and flowers with a very professional table set for a romantic dinner. As the sun was setting the deer were walking around the yard as we enjoyed our jacuzzi with the wine and strawberries.

A secluded get away in the heart of Fredericksburg

Location perfect, deer-friends in the back yard by creek magical, house a little run-down, lights flickered in bedroom and fan didn't always work. Would appreciate a stand-up shower option.

Amazing Weekend
We loved it. It was clean and the country type setting was beautiful. It was close to everything in town and very easy to find. The bed was amazingly comfortable would love to know what kind of mattress it had. We have told all our friends about it and recommended it very highly as a romantic weekend getaway. Thank you very much. Again if possible please what kind of mattress do y’all have on that bed we haven’t slept that good in years.

Great Place
Great rustic place to stay. Perfect for 2. Fun and Cozy. Love seeing all the deer I the mornings and evenings. Next to Milam St makes it very noisy from the traffic. Recommend using earplugs for sleeping.

Weekend getaway
Beautiful cottage talked away a few blocks away from the main strip in Fredericksburg. The cottage was beautiful on the outside. We enjoyed feeding the deer and sitting on the front porch , awesome stay for the price

Great hidden gem!
We loved our stay. The home is beautiful and full of antique furniture. The icing on the cake was the deer that will come up close to the back porch to eat corn that is there for you to put out.

Fredricksburg/Fiesta weekend
The first "visual" we saw as we drove up to the property were multiple deer in the back yard and down by the creek--definitely a deal-maker! The deer were in and around the property despite thunderstorms during our weekend stay. Easy 2 block walk to Main street and all the action. Only down-side is no stand-up shower. We will definitely stay again!

Cute cottage, quiet and great location!
We enjoyed our stay very much! Only 2 blocks away from Main Street so loved the location. In a residential area but because it is by a creek, it is very quiet and peaceful and the view from the back porch was lovely. Several deer visited in the morning. The cottage was so cute and rustic and was perfect for me and my husband. Will be back for sure!!

Wonderful cottage on large lovely lot.
We really enjoyed our stay on Barons Creek at this one bedroom cottage. Humongous Cypress trees in the back with lots of birds. The hot tub was nice and the owners were kind enough to replace a light bulb in the bathroom for us during our stay. Very nice King size bed. No Wifi which we knew before arriving but there is a wireless router which confused our iPhones. There was some traffic noise but quite tolerable. Very enjoyable.

The property was perfect. Everything was exactly as described in the listing. 5 minute walk to all of the shops downtown. My wife and I REALLY enjoyed the hot tub. (It is very secluded ;) ) the front porch is also perfect for just sitting with a glass of wine or bourbon

Great spot, close to the main drag but removed enough from the bustle, tucked away a bit in the trees and the dear were frequent visitors. Only downside is the handheld shower is tricky and gets messy and the couch is not one for relaxing.

Adorable home
We had such a relaxing weekend! The property was just as expected (although an email just before our trip incorrectly said there was no wifi). The bed was super comfortable & we so enjoyed hanging out on the back porch & watching the deer. The house is walking distance to town. We’d stay here again if the opportunity arose!

Perfect little getway!
This cabin is so cute and conveniently located. It was just as described. We knew there was no stove, so we took a portable stove so we could cook breakfast & it worked out great! The cabin had all the charm! The bed was the most comfortable bed we have ever slept on. Perfect vacation in the perfect cabin. We will definitely stay here again.

5 Year Anniversary/ First Fredericksburg Trip
Loved everything about the cottage. Our favorite thing was all the deer that would be in the yard in the morning and evening. Very nice for the location. Which brings me to the convenience of the location. Simply a slice of Texas History my wife and I can enjoy forever. We will be back!!
