Would be a great place during the summer, with a riverfront back yard, and plenty of space to hang out and have a fire, etc."

"We had a wonderful time, the house is just like the pictures only better. I brought my eldry parents to visit my moms sister. The house was perfect for them. The backyard was nice, we even enjoyed some light fall flowers. I did enjoy the hot tub. Very quiet, peaceful setting."

"This home is spotless, recently updated and convenient to the activities of La Crosse. Our stay was brief, but it was nice to have a comfortable and clean place to stay where we could look out at the river and relax in the evenings was appreciated. A note - the listing indicates fireplace, but I believe that is an error. There were smoke and carbon monoxide detectors in the home."

"Wonderful little stay on the Mississippi River. The most AMAZING sunrises to wake up to ... as well as beautiful moon rises over the river. We will definitely be back! Fun little bars in town if you wish to step out ... had a blast. Ran down to the meat market across the border in IA, and that was a hoot! Very CLEAN and had every thing you need in a kitchen to cook anything. Wonderful host!"

"Pictures are accurate. The kitchen needs a little updating but worked out just fine. Well stocked. If you're planning on staying here in the summer be weary of all the insects from the river. We were not able to use the firepit or the grill because there were too many flies everywhere. The property around the house can use a little cleaning/sprucing up. "
