Extended family got together for some memory making. The property was clean and updated, adorable towel art in each bedroom, fun bunk bed room and basement game room.
Kitchen modest and not equipped for 15 people to eat there 3 times a day (only 9 forks), so we went through a lot of paper goods and washed our plastic silverware.
The lake is a .3 mile hike or drive and hike. You really have to enjoy kayaking to go through the effort to take them down to the water. The area around the piers is not ideal for swimming. We drove into town and spent $5 to swim at the county park next to the RV park.
The listing said games and toys, but it was more for tweens and older. We are glad we brought a lot of toys and games for our younger crew.
The kitchen oven is a bit slow to cook things. unlisted appliances; a griddle, three waffle irons, instapot, a slow cooker, a hand mixer, a pizza oven, cutting boards, numerous pots and pans. Grill needs to be leveled.
There was a disconnect between vacasa,
VRBO, and properly owner if any communication was made with them. Vacasa answered my question and said firewood was not included, but in fact there was a canopy with a large pile of firewood and a wago to take it down to the fire pit. Vacasas 800 number said a coffee maker would be delivered to the property because there was no coffee pot for the coffee maker (accessories and filters were there) no delivery or follow up, we went to Walmart and bought one. The owner should update listing
