Spectacular Family Reunion
After a long, private and rustic driveway from the road to the house, we were treated to a visually unique and stunning estate setting inside and out. Incredible outdoor waterfall system with color changing lights. A night time marvel. (Built by the Owner, Dave) Very large, well equipped house, many amenities and plenty of space for large family gatherings and numerous private sitting areas for relaxation or small get togethers. The house stonework and woodwork (inside and out) is just amazing. Actually more of a private resort feel with a beautiful view and direct access to the lake. We had 16 family members from infants, toddlers, pre-teens to grandparents with plenty of room and plenty to do. Dave was very attentive and personally checked in with us daily to see if there was anything we needed. Dave continues to work on improving the property and adding new amenities. This was one of those unique and special family/location experiences to be remembered and talked about for years to come.

Terrific Lake Vacation
We rented this house for a family vacation. Mix of adults, teenagers, and one toddler. We loved it! House is huge and had everything we needed. David was an attentive host and went above and beyond. We rented the jet skis and they were awesome. We took out the tritoon for one day and it was a highlight of the trip. The easy access to the lake made it one of the best lake vacations we have had. Highly recommend this property.

Best VRBO experience we have ever had
I cannot say enough about our experience. The house was impeccable, everything you could possibly need. Activities everywhere on the property. The house was spotless! Our host was amazing! Most amazing Family vacation

Awesome vacation
This house is amazing. It has everything that you would need to relax and enjoy a family vacation. Each bedroom has their own bathroom and TV. The lake has a beach area that you can lay out and get some sun or enjoy the water. Any problems you can always text or call Nancy or David and they respond right away. I would definitely rent this property again.

Awesome place
Our family had an amazing vacation at Bellissimo Castle. We loved our outings on the boat watching our grandchildren tube and swim in the water. The kitchen was awesome and fully stocked with two ovens and two dishwashers. Location was great and near to a grocery store. So many fun things for everyone to play on in the water. Loved watching the deer with our morning coffee! We did not want to leave!

The Best Vacation Ever!
What can I say. You will fall in love with Bellissimo Castle from the minute you drive down the driveway and across the bridge with the beautiful waterfalls. 8 bedrooms and 10 baths, huge kitchen with 2 refrigerators, 2 dishwashers, large gas stove, coffee bar and 2 living areas. Recommend whoever stays in the bedroom at the top to keep the doors closed, really helps keep the room cool. The kids were never bored, from karaoke, swimming in the pool and playing in the lake. Having the pontoon boat and jet ski available to rent at the castle was a big plus. The ATV provided made it so easy to get stuff to the boat dock for our adventures on the beautiful lake. Loved sitting in the shade on the side of the bank watching the grandkids on the lake paddle boating, canoeing, jumping on the trampoline and on the paddle boards, or just playing games in the yard. You can even sit in the lake in a hammock or stretch out on your own private beach. Dave and Nancy are the best and were there for anything we needed. You can tell how much they love kids, so much for kids to do and adults. They have thought of everything. The kids found prince and princess outfits and made a movie at the castle (was so much fun). Highly recommend the recreation area, approved by adults and kids. For the barbecue fanatic, you won’t know which grille to use. Thanks Nancy and Dave for sharing. As our grandson said: This was the best vacation ever!

My family (14 of us - mixed ages) had a great time during our recent stay! The house and property has a ton of activities and things to do - we were not short of options. This part of Lake Lanier was quiet too, which was nice. The owner and property manager were friendly and responsive during our stay. Thanks for letting us stay!

The Magnificent Bellissimo Castle -- 8 Acres and No Neighbors in Sight
**For those who don't want to read a detailed review -- if this place is available, just book it** Bellissimo Castle is hands down the most incredible rental property we have ever stayed at. Nancy and Dave are great to work with; booking was easy and communication was detailed and thorough throughout the process. Check-in was a breeze; the address pops right up in Google, Apple Maps, and Waze. Dave met us at check-in and helped show us around the home which was super helpful -- instructions to use home sound system, elevator, massage tub, etc. Dave went above and beyond throughout our stay any time we needed anything. The home itself is positively marvelous. Every bedroom has its own private bath, and there are at least two extra powder rooms in the home as well. This is SO NICE when hosting a large group. The kitchen features two full size fridges, two dishwashers, multiple coffee and espresso makers, and is incredibly well stocked. We cooked each day for 20+ people and had plenty of dishes, utensils, and cooking tools. The water toys (boats, jet skis, kayaks, canoes, water trampoline, hammocks) are absolutely incredible and were such a blast. The gaming area (pickle ball, volleyball, pop-a-shot, etc) and waterfall are amazing and easily accessible as well. Pool area in super nice with tons of seating and a deluxe BBQ are -- grill, smoker, pellet grill all worked and were fabulous Best endorsement I can give -- we are coming back next year! We love it

A much needed family retreat!!
After searching high & low for somewhere my CO family & MS family could come together for vacation, we found this gem nestled away just NE of Atlanta, GA. I never knew how gorgeous this area was until I had this opportunity to visit. To top it off, a castle on Lake Lanier with every amenity you can imagine, there's nothing left to desire once arriving @ The Bellissimo Castle. From the pool & hot tub, to the sauna & game room, this place has it all. Every bedroom was just as cozy as the next including an incredible bathroom in each one. A place you never have as all of the entertainment you can ask for is right here. My kids' spent each day on the water with the pontoon boat & wakeboard boat pulling each other on the tubes! The supercharged jet ski's are another experience of their own! haha My entire family especially my kids & their cousins will remember this place for the rest of their lives!

Christmas vacation
Beautiful property on the North end of Lake Lanier. Loved that every bedroom had a king size bed and and private bathroom. It was super cold when we were there, so we did not enjoy all the festivities the property offers. However, in warmer weather there is a ton to do inside and outside. Great set up, we had three families and plenty of space. Loved the pickle ball pavilion! Highly recommend.

70th birthday family celebration
Oh my goodness, we could go on and on about our stay at Bellissimo Castle! First and foremost, Nancy and David are beyond fantastic to work with, always available and quick to respond to any needs we may have had. Old world charm with modern day convenience made for the perfect stay. The children explored, kayaked and played outside all day and the adults enjoyed having a pizza party at poolside and a private dinner party prepared by Chef Rhianni. We were 15 total and none of us were ready to go home. Thank you Nancy and Dave for providing such a wonderful experience!!

PHENOMENAL EXPERIENCE!!!
Our stay at the Castle was an excellent escape from our daily lives into a gorgeous setting with unlimited adventure and entertainment! The pictures on the listing don’t do justice to the house, and we were quite comfortable throughout our 13 day stay. The lake is truly gorgeous and we had a blast on and by the water our whole trip! The limitl David is an A+ host, and he catered to our every need and more, and was a true pleasure to deal with. Nancy and Joanna were a huge help as well and made our trip go very smooth!

Fun beyond reality
This magnificent property had everything 14 of us ranging in ages from 68-6 could possibility want. Water sports, karaoke, pool, outdoor kitchen, enough space for everyone to have their own space. It could not have been any more fun and more suited to multi generation family get together. One set of grandparents, and three families with a combined total of 6 grandchildren had plenty of room. Everyone had their own bathroom (super important!) The kitchen was equipped with everything the foodies in the family needed.. The outdoor kitchen kept the griller in the family happy and us too!! The owner was super attentive and super helpful although not much was required as every detail had been thought out ahead of time. We all had high expectations as this is not your "budget" vacation property but all of our expectations were exceeded. Beautiful property!!

Wonderful Place on the water for Family Vacation!
Our extended family of 17+ ppl enjoyed Bellissimo Castle and all its amenities on Lake Lanier. This was our first time visiting LL and it was truly a memorable time! It was a house full of three generations- grandparents, sisters/cousins and our kids from VA, FL and GA. There was plenty of outside space to gather together collectively by the poolside, on the pontoon, in the hot tub or by the firepit. The space also offered a secluded spot to read a book on the lakeview deck, set up a home office for the week in the lanai or take a paddle board out for quiet alone time. We took advantage of renting the pontoon and all the water toys that came with it. The teenage/young adult kids enjoyed the lake activities! The lake was not overly crowded. As we approached the July 4th holiday, it got a little busier but nothing too terrible. The bedrooms/bathrooms were spacious and beautiful! My only recommendations would maybe change one of the King size beds to two doubles/full size beds. That may accommodate groups with kids better, the bunk room definitely helped though. We brought our own yard games to play- Spikeball and Bocce. The yard was plenty large for that. We actually had our own version of Family Olympics that was property perfectly accommodated for the various challenges and games. Inside the house, we took advantage of the built-in karaoke, poker table and Golden Tee! Ladies can sing while the men are playing GT, genius! Lastly, Dave the owner was super pleasant, kind and responsive. We had questions about the stove, shower, sound system and pool throughout the week and he quick to aid. Sounds like there will be much more offered on the property soon.... volleyball, pickleball, too. Can't wait to visit again! Check-in was smooth Communication was excellent Grocery store 10 minutes away. Helen, GA is a must visit for a few hours. MUST BOOK THIS!!
