You can park your car and walk everywhere. Parking in Mystic has always been a problem, however now there is a huge parking lot at the end of Cottrel Street."

"We highly recommend Hemingway Retreat and we will definitely be staying here again. The cottage is clean, cosy, comfortable and has a nice ambiance. Caitlin has provided some snacks, sodas and water as well as a Keuring coffee maker and a variety of coffee. The property is quiet and is only a short walk to town, (sidewalks all of the way) which during the busy season alleviates trying to find parking. Walking at night felt very safe. "This is incredible find and Al, the host, could not have been more hospitable. The rental is so close to downtown New London and Niantic and the highway that it was easy to get to and from all major necessities and recreation. "First of all, our house was on the historic register but our accommodations were right up to date. We were celebrating a 90th birthday but were close enough to downtown and the Seaport to walk there! Our hosts left a list of ideas for eating and sightseeing and a warm welcome telling us we could have as much or as little interaction as we wished. Definitely a place to come back to!!"

"From the first communication with Katie we had nothing more than wonderful experiences. The home is beautiful and the neighborhood is so charming. We thought parking would be an issue but had no problems. Walked to Ocean Park every morning. The kitchen had EVERYTHING we needed and then some. We look forward to being able to come back next year.
