Fun place close to beach
We had a great stay and had everything we needed for our short stay. Small grocery store a short drive and easy walk to the beach. We could see the kids from our porch. Would definitely go back.

Close to beach
The house is in a great location, second row in and a quick 1 min walk to the beach. The kitchen was nice and the layout was good for our family. However, the house needs some TLC. The floors are kinda wonky, the window by the front door is broken, there are were lots of little things that need fixing. I did see a few bugs during our stay so I feel like the place could use a visit from a pest control company. I love the location but I don't think we will be staying in this particular house again.

At first we thought it looked nice and clean. Upon further inspection the was a broken window, mold on/by the sink, and the worst... cockroaches!!

Worst place to stay
Half of the house lost power. They were not willing to get it fixed while we Stayed. I have to wear a medical mask and their accommodation only was a bandaid to the issue. The loss of power also stopped the hot water in the place. I had to leave the location and head home and the owner was not willing to refund one night. This is an inconvenience that affected our stay. I do not recommend renting this place. From the get-go broken window in the property. Why pay over $1000 and have a bad expereience? Not acceptable. They only want to return $150 out of the entire stay. Whoever reads this do not rent from them! They will not work with you to refund you.

Wallpaper falling off walls in bathroom, air conditioner poor, & roaches everywhere. Wifi advertised but unable to access except one place in family room. If you turned the TV towards couches reception was lost. In rear of house there is a large hole in eave with water dripping out which explained all roaches.

Great location
Looking for somewhere close to beach this was great. It was right by a beach access. We walked very easily. Wish they had small things included in the house, beach toys, or sand shovels. We bought our own at Walmart but cannot take them home. For the most part clean. Has a few maintenance type issues (one of the toilets ran off and on the whole time we were there) Nothing that majorly impacted our stay though.

Great Memorial Day Getaway
Super cute home literally less than a minute walk to the beach. The home itself had all the basic needs. Neighbors were extremely friendly. Communication with management was great. Overall will be booking this place again.

Beach stay
Perfect beach stay with our small family. Good location and easy beach access. Showers had great water pressure and got nice and hot which was perfect after a cold day at the beach! Would have been nice if the home had additional cooking supplies like oil and salt and pepper but other than that it was great!

Fantastic place for getaway!
We'd come back to this house in a heartbeat. Great location just a short walk to the beach, and with a great view of the beach from the porch. Did not mind the lack of a dining room table, as the kitchen island is much larger than it appears in the photos (or at least than it looked to us) and the common room and master bedroom are more spacious than we anticipated. The porch really was fantastic, with several seating options. Kitchen is well-stocked, and the three bedrooms give several good sleeping options for families (including teens who need a little space. And we received an immediate response and information when the water went out for a short while (the city was working on the line, nothing the owners or management could have helped). A great place to stay and a great experience!

October Getaway
Check-in had a few snags, house hadn't been fully dusted, a couple of floor boards are popping up a bit and could hurt someone's toe. Otherwise; it was what we paid for - a nice, roomy house very close to the beach with good amenities and a killer view. We appreciated the lack of glitz and shops everywhere like in town, as well as no highway to cross for beach access; the West End and it's laid-back vibe were exactly what we needed. Would stay there again but VRBO and the big property companies are starting to lose business with all the added, inflated fees and costs. I've noticed that some of the smaller owners are going back to listing their units personally again; maybe the big boys will adjust accordingly...

Old House that needs some repairs.
The location was good. Now onto the bad. Didn’t get our check in code on time but customer service fixed that once we called. Everything just seemed like it could use a good wipe down. The flooring in the living room and kitchen are peeling up and a tripping hazard. The porch has numerous nails sticking up and some of the railing is coming apart. That’s a huge thing if you’ve got small children. The A/C either works too well or not enough. Set it for 77 and two rooms were warm while the master bedroom could have been used to safely store raw meat. Light could be seen through the gap under the door and past the window a/c units. Not a big deal until the mosquitoes found those holes. And the power meter box looks so rusted out that I’m concerned that it could be a fire hazard.

Great beach access, needs updates
Overall we had a good experience staying here. The nearness to the beach was great for our small kids and made it easy to go back and forth between the beach and the house. Loved that it was pet friendly, too. Property manager was easy to communicate with, which was nice. The pictures are a little deceiving though. They had made just enough very basic upgrades to take “modern looking” photos but the linoleum floor was coming up in multiple spots, and the bathroom feels very outdated. Shower is TINY with no water pressure. We did miss having a kitchen table. It was fine for a 2-night stay, but I would probably choose another property in the future.

REVIEW Notes: Great location and view, so close to the beach. The place looks just like the pictures, really cute decor. Loved all the distressed furniture, very beachy. Perfect for taking our respite from caregiving to our young adult son in a vegetative state. Thanks to the well-equipped kitchen, we were able to cook some good meals. There is no pantry, however, or place to store everything we brought, and we had to bring everything. The one bathroom is not a full bath, only a tiny shower. Outlets in bathroom don't work, and that's the only mirror in the house! A full-length mirror would be helpful. Because it rained the whole week we were there in October, it was cold, and we needed extra blankets. There's only one on each bed. Good thing we didn't use all the beds. We were able to borrow from them. The TV is nice and big, but it was in SPANISH. We had to use Google's translator to find the language (idioma) settings. And, using the provided HDMI, it wouldn't play anything from our laptop. And lastly, but certainly not least, this place needs a better pest control service! We saw way too many Roaches! The Check-in Instructions state that "All of our properties receive routine pest control treatments." We'd love to come back when you get one that works.

Beachfront bungalow was the perfect spot for a girls trip. Wonderful location to the beach and nearby shops/restaurants. The property was clean and had everything you needed to enjoy your getaway.
