Wonderful vacay
It was very nice. We had a great time. So close to the ocean and away from everything. The resort pools were amazing! Just a few minor things…The Keurig K-cup machine did not work. The top bunk bed had sand either in the mattress or on the sheets. We felt sand. Condo smelled a little musty.

Great condo! We really enjoyed our stay. The listing was exactly as described. It was very clean and well maintained. The view was wonderful. The beach is very clean and was not packed at all. The kids enjoyed the pool at the beach club. We would definitely stay again!

Wonderful location to just enjoy the beach. Great accommodations, comfortable beds, wonderful balcony. Easy chair and canopy rentals. Would highly recommend if you dont want to be right in the center of everything and have a nice relaxing time.

Fantastic Beach Front Property
We wanted a quick get away as a family for a few days at the beach.. We could not have had a more perfect experience. The condo was beautiful and clean and faced the beach. The beaches were clean and not crowded and we had a great time. We look forward to coming again..

Holiday Disappointment
I suppose we should have guessed that this was not what we expected when we were greeted by bugs at the entrance. The Primary Bedroom has a bed that needs replacing. The two inch layer of foam kept sliding off which didn't provide a restful nights sleep. The kitchen dishwasher worked but it was not attached to the cabinetry so every time someone opened it up, it fell forward. The Primary Bathroom also needed some TLC. The deck and view of the beach were excellent. As a retired executive in the Hotel industry, I can see great potential. However, as with all properties, its all in the details in order to deliver a great experience. This visit was disappointing.

Wuiet and relaxing
The condo was great! No complaints. Location was great! Only wish we would have is for there to be a few restaurants on that part of the island. The restaurant at the beach club closed after Halloween. Two restaurants had gone out if business and one pub restaurant was not ready for business. We had to drive a lot to eat at a restaurant. Take out would be fine but pizza was the only choice available nearby. We brought things and we were able to go to a Krogers to stock up on some things. Just did not want to do a lot of cooking. So the condo was great but hope the area develops just a little but not too much.

Great Getaway!
We have stayed numerous times on the West side of Galveston, but this was our first time to go all the way to Pointe West. We loved it!!! The resort was a perfect place to relax. We found the condo to be exactly how it was pictured and described. The communication with the management company was superb. It was very quiet and the location to the boardwalk over to the beach was perfect. As noted, the elevator worked on the first day but not on the subsequent days but the flight of stairs were easy to manage. We also enjoyed the wonderful views of the beach from both inside the condo and the balcony. We look forward to another stay in the near future.

Great Stay
The pictures on the website is a true vision of what to expect in the condo. Beds were very comfortable . The unit was very clean. A perfect stay for a mini vacation for four adults. There was only one issue that we encountered. The elevator did not work during our entire stay. Yes, it is true we were on the second floor. However, it was inconvenient to get your luggage, and grocery items up to the 2nd floor. Our group had one person that was not totally able to get up & down stairs easily. The elevator situation was documented in the information section of your agreement. However, I feel the elevator has been out for a long period of time. It is my understanding that the part for the elevator is on backorder. In my opinion I feel that this information should have been communicated to the person renting the unit. A lot of the issues we encountered could have been avoided. Another visitor lost control of his luggage on the stairs and came falling down the stairs and almost hit one of our guests. Overall I would recommend the elevator issue be resolved quickly or have a contingency plan for the elevator problem.

Beautiful Property
We really enjoyed our stay. We were in the quiet part of the complex. The condo was everything that it was advertised to be. However, the young ladies in the office were less than helpful. It was like pulling teeth to get anything from them. Seemed like they couldn’t be bothered to give out information.

Family Fun
We enjoyed our stay at Pointe West, the property was great, had everything we needed a more. I forgot board games and cards and they had it, we used the Above and Beyond Concierge delivery service for our groceries and it saved me so much time! We only left the property to have fun at the local attractions!

We stayed for two nights after Christmas. The property is lovely but we were disappointed the restaurant was closed. This was not clear from the listing. We would stay here again.

Nice place. Easy beach access. Have to drive to pool. 30 min drive to Galveston.
Very easy to rent. Nice place. Bring any condiments you need. No sugar that we could find. Bring K cups which we did. Pool very nice. Mosquitoes very bad, but that is Galveston.

Exceeded our Expectations
We had a wonderful stay in this condo. Honestly they thought of most everything you would need and were very specific with what was and what was not there when you arrived. In fact upon leaving we noticed the closet with 2 beach towels and some toys and a bicycle pump. The had chairs and bikes as well in the garage area! The Condo itself was very clean, quality linen and beds were comfortable. I ended up sleeping in all 3 at some point with my grand kids so I can honestly vouch for that. The only thing missing were pillow cases for the extra pillows (we used the air mattress for a few nights) but we had brought our own linen for that so we were fine. The condo had wonderful views of the ocean and it was close to walkway to the beach. The pool has been mostly reopened and was a lot of fun. We tried both pools and ate at the restaurant several times. We had a wonderful time. We had a family member that rented a condo from another management company and it was not a good experience for them. I highly recommend this condo, Karen and Pointe West vacations. We hope to return again.

Gone Coastal
We had such a great time on our trip! We found Gone Coastal to be in the perfect location. The West Island is the best place to be in Galveston in my opinion. Everything we needed during our stay we found to be there. My 3 year old granddaughter had so much fun at the beach. She ran after birds all day! The third day we went to the resort pool and we had a good time there. Towards the end of our trip we went to the Lazy River pool on the Bay side and discovered that pool to be way more accommodating for youngsters. Thanks for the opportunity to stay and enjoy ourselves at your lovely property.
