Perfect location

Beautiful house!!!! We love staying at this location it’s a perfect location access to everywhere, we have a minor issue with the house but the owner responded quick overall we will come back to this house 🤗

The house was nice. A few minor scuffs, standing water in the bathtub, and a shower curtain with only 3 hooks is my only complaint. The back yard is smaller than it appears. Or more of the layout. The pool was great and beds were comfy. The house stays nice and cool at 72 degrees. We mainly slept and ate breakfast there. The Kitchen is equipped with all the utinsils you need to cook. The driveway is pretty small so have to maneuver your cars in there if you have 4 and don't wanna park on the street. Its a corner house in a neighborhood so its pretty private and no disturbances. Great place to stay with family if you have kids. They can all pile in the game room. 3 King Beds was a plus. Overall a good stay. Would stay again if they fixed the tub drain.

House of horrors

Do NOT stay at this property. Upon arrival, we noticed that the outdoor trash cans were overflowing, and that the stove top was severely cracked. We contacted management to let them know of the situation. We were told that the trash would be picked up the next day(Monday). Monday came, and it wasn't picked up, so we contacted management again, with no response. Trash was finally picked up Thursday and they was no resolution about the stovetop. The house wreeks of mold. I'm assuming it's coming from the rotting floor in the bathroom, the mildewed cabinet under the kitchen sink, and the leaking mini splits/AC's in 3/5 rooms. There is no comfortable place to sit, because the living room furniture is falling apart, along with disgusting stains. There were cockroaches in and around the house. I was unfortunate enough to have one crawl over my arm as I was falling asleep. Along with the rotting floor in the bathroom, the bathtub barely drains. There are mystery stains all over the walls and ceilings. If you try and escape the horrors indoors, you're greeted by moldy and rotting seating outside. Please do not spend your money on this property. It is truly horrendous.

We enjoyed our stay in Galveston very much! The kids loved the game room! It was a huge hit! The house was clean & inviting. There were a few disappointments that could be addressed that would have made the stay even better. The pool was extremely cloudy & there was trash and cigarette butts around the fire pit.

The house was disgusting! The pictures definitely need to be updated. The patio furniture was weathered, the house was full of mold. The cleaning people missed obvious areas and the best thing is it has ROACHES!

The property was just fine for families with kids. Adequate room and good set up with comfortable beds. The pool was nice and just fine. The main issue with the house was the roaches. Yes, little and big. Mainly active at night and in the morning. That pretty much ruined the property. Also the barbeque grill had a hole the size of a softball in the bottom. The outdoor furniture was in poor shape. And sitting at the fire pit you had to watch out for ants. I could have overlooked most of the issues ( it is a beach house rental ) but live roaches are disgusting. Pick 3 days with no scheduled rentals, set off several bug bombs, and get rid of the infestation. I gave it 3 stars but really more like a 2.5 at best. Also dealing with vrbo is a bit problematic. A guest left a makeup bag in a bedroom vanity and apparently it can't be located. Can't fault them for that since it's our fault. But should be easier to have someone go look and verify.

Roach-Infested Nightmare – Avoid at All Costs

Our stay was absolutely disgusting. The place was infested with roaches — crawling on the floors, in the kitchen, and even inside our cooler bag. We had to throw out our food because they were getting into everything. It was filthy. The floors were so dirty, our socks turned black after about an hour of walking around.One of the bathrooms had severe water damage — the floor was so soft it felt rotted underneath.The back door was broken, the patio furniture was busted, and the cushions were torn and moldy. This place is clearly neglected and unsafe.I contacted the host immediately and even sent photos of everything. I had to follow up multiple times just to get a response. They showed little to no effort to resolve anything, and eventually just ghosted us completely. No accountability, no resolution.This place should not be listed for rent. It’s a health hazard, not a vacation home.

The stay was amazing we loved Galveston the house was dirty 4 of the chairs were broken outside cockroaches, garbage everywhere. The gates were broken we dealt with it because we didn’t have much of a choice.

Pre cruise trip

Decided to spend a few days in Galveston before boarding a cruise ship. House was is a good location, some of the beds and mattresses left some to be desired. The tub sower combo was great. Could use some towel racks and toilet paper holders though. Overall it was a good experience.

Nightmare vacation rental home

We asked to leave 1 hour after entering this home. Boy where do I start. The front door, most of the beds, the shower, the bedroom window, the kitchen cabinets, the living room couch…. All broken. The house was filthy. What looked like poop and blood on all the bedding, the pillows, the walls, doors and floors. I messaged the host right away. All that they did was toss a bag of “clean” bedding at the front door and drove off. We had no choice but to stay the night. It’s spring break and everything was booked. So we changed the bedding to find either mouse poop or cockroach poop in the beds. I demanded to checkout and obtain a refund. They refused. It took me to do an interview with the news press to get them to agree on me do a charge Back with my bank. Absolutely terrible. We had to scramble to find hotel accommodations and ended up staying in Houston to have a clean, safe place for my family.

Family pre Cruise stay

The property was as described minus some updates that could have been addressed prior to our arrival. Our concerns were mentioned to the owner and his response was very quick and appreciated.Overall, the house was very comfortable and welcoming. There was plenty of space for all 8 of us to sleep well and we did. The kids loved there game room and all the beds were very comfortable. We had plenty of cookware and utensils to prepare our meals which was convenient and great.My only suggestion is to fix the issues that were mentioned upon arrival because, the property has a nice home feeling. Lastly, the pool Owl gave me the creeps LOL. One minute its looking to the right, 2nd minute its looking to the left, 3rd minute its looking straight at me LOL. Maybe I had one to many Vodka on the rocks LOL.Continue to be Blessed.Thanks

Not as pictured beware

So first of all when I originally booked it there weren’t any bad reviews so I was ok the pictures look nice.When we arrived in Galveston, it was early. I asked if we if there was anyway we could check in a little earlier as we had a big group. I was trying to get everything set up. I was told when it was finished cleaning we could get in nope we did not get in early. I got the text a week could check in right at 4 o’clock. Upon arrival check in was OK. I guess the key is not electronic like most of them. You have to unlock a box which is on a pole so it’s an old-fashioned key not a code. When we open the door, there is an overwhelming smell of cheap cleaner that burns your nose like Faso or something like that. It stinks not smells clean. Upon inspection of the home found lots of repairs that need to be done if you’re renting out a place you shouldn’t have a broken front door with taped up. You shouldn’t have missing floor pieces along the bathroom. The molding needs desperately painted the window in the back is broken. The patio furniture outside is tattered and torn. Just not what you would expect from a VRBO property, especially in a tourist area like this. Be aware its not as pictured
