This house was perfect for our large group to have Thanksgiving at. The host was great to work with & responded quickly when I had a question. The house was deceptively larger on the inside than it appears from the outside. We had no issues with the neighbors even with the houses being fairly close together. Overall it was a great stay & can't wait to go back in the warmer months to take advantage of the pool

Pre-Cruise Vacation
We had a wonderful night staying at this house before our cruise. Everything in the house was as advertised on the listing. The house was perfect for our group. The kids all loved the game room and that was nice to have something to keep them entertained. The host was extremely quick with responses to questions and communication in general. I would highly recommend this listing to any large group.

Disappointed in the cleanliness
Where do I begin? The pool was great. Perfectly placed to be shaded during the early evening hours. After that let’s begin…The floors and bathrooms were disgusting. Some of the bath towels were see through. The furniture is very worn. It was very much appreciated that the cleaning staff came out and cleaned again for us but they didn’t do a very good job and were only there for 10-15 minutes and all they did was spray Fabuloso on the floor and rub it around with a dry mop. We also saw a large amount of bugs and smeared, dead mosquitoes all over the walls. The place has a lot of potential but some TLC is needed.

Good for large groups
We had a large group stay here and it worked well for us. While there were some cleanliness issues and some things that needed repairs, overall we enjoyed our stay. The rooms were spacious, the beds were comfortable, the arcade games were a huge hit with all ages and the pool was great as well. Russell was quick to reply and easy to work with. We’d stay here again on another trip to Galveston.

Pictures are misleading - place is gross
We paid top dollar to stay here for 3 nights thinking this was a nice place. It’s the most disgusting place I’ve ever stayed. Outside of cleaning toilets and changing sheets (hopefully), I don’t think they clean. There is dirt, grime, and filth all over the walls, doors, and baseboards. We had a bug issue with a ton of bugs coming into one of the bedrooms during the night bc the window doesn’t close completely. Also, the washer and dryer smell like moldy mildew nastiness. The pool was dirty. The second bathroom flooring is coming up and is in pieces. There are no toilet paper holders or towel holders in either bathroom. Also in the “game room” they must have ran out of flooring because part of the room is just concrete. One of the beds is covering it so you wouldn’t know, except you have to move the bed to use the ladder to get to the top bunk because they put the ladder up against the wall. They also say they have a dining room table, but there isn’t one. You have to eat at the kitchen island or on the couches. Lastly they have a giant security light right outside of two of the bedrooms (that’s what attracted the bugs) that makes it like daylight when it’s nighttime. If you like it dark when you sleep, bring a sleep mask because you won’t get sleep here. I would never stay here again and next year when everyone comes down for the beach tournament, I’ll make sure everyone we know knows not to stay here.

Not so clean and oven didn't close
The place was a bit dirty -- wherever we walked with our barefeet, we'd collect a lot of dirt. Also, we tried to bake something in the oven, but the oven would not close, so we had to hold the oven door shut. Also, we found dirty towels in the washing machine.

Overall it was nice
Perfect location and perfect size for all of our family. We absolutely had the best time and made lots of memories. Thank you so much for making the process easy and look forward to renting this property again in the near future. Only one complaint and that didn't even bother us too bad... whoever it is that cleans and inspects the house should pay closer attention. The kitchen and cabinets weren't clean. The island had splatters of dried liquid. The shower could have been inspected better. And I replaced the batteries in every single remote because they didn't work. Also the front door needs some TLC. These things are small compared to the amount of memories we got to make. Hopefully we will talk to you again in May!!!!!
