Great Stay!
This property is in a great location! Close to the Beach Club entrance. Overlooks a water feature. Huge balcony. Nicely furnished. No frills or extras but it had everything our family needed. We would definitely stay again.

Enjoyed our stay…
Definitely enjoyed our stay… Little hiccup upon arrival - door code didn’t work, so we used the spare key all week. 2nd time staying at Pointe West - the grounds were neat, people were friendly, and the pool and lazy river did not disappoint. Love the short walk over the dunes to the beach, just wish the jellyfish hadn’t made such an early appearance this year. :( Only negatives: toilet seat in 2nd bathroom is hanging on by a thread, kitchen could stock up on some basics for travelers: salt and pepper (our first breakfast eggs got no love), coffee filters, Tupperware for leftovers, etc. Overall, really enjoyed our stay - condo was spacious and clean, comfy beds, huge patio space!

Excellent property
Excellent property near the club house! Very clean and near the elevator and stairs. There isn’t a hairdryer like reported in a previous review. Overall it’s a great property and I would definitely rent again!

We loved our condo and the resort facility!!The Beach Club was amazing, the restaurant convenient with good food and the condo layout perfect for us and our teenage granddaughter. Truly a week of wonderful memories we will treasure!!

Great week at Pointe West!
This is our 4th trip to Pointe West. We had a wonderful stay. The unit was clean and close to the pool and beach. My only suggestion would be to include more “necessities” in the unit. For example, we had to buy extra paper towel and antibacterial soap to wash our hands.

Very nice
Great location! Close to the main pool and beach access. Make sure to get groceries in a major city such as Galveston otherwise you will be paying more at the gas stations/grocery stores. As far as I know, there are no breakfast restaurants nearby but the restaurant on site for lunch and dinner is very good.

Beautiful condo
This was the perfect condo for our family of 4. The only thing that was different from other condos we’ve stayed at in pointe west was this one was a bit bare. There wasn’t a hairdryer and no extra cooking items in the cabinets. Definitely not an issue, just a difference. The condo was super close to the beach and the beach club which was awesome! It was clean and spacious.

Nice condo
The condo was very nice and as described/pictured on VRBO. The only thing that needs a little improvement is the rental mgmt by Vacasa. We were staying for 5 nights and they only stocked 2 dishwasher tabs. They ask guests to run the dishes on the way out, so this meant only one for us. I would have brought some had I known this, but I thought calling Vacasa would be no big deal and they’d bring more, but the rep acted like I was out of line for my request. After I insisted that they needed to ask housekeeping to bring more they did so, but it was very odd handling. Also, the cleanliness does not get a 5 because my kid cut her foot on shards of broken glass in the breakfast area that must have been there from previous guests.

Beautiful Property
We had a wonderful time! The condo is beautiful and looks even better in person than in the photos. Everything was extremely clean and the kitchens and bathrooms were stocked well and had everything we needed! The Beach club was fun, the beach was beautiful and private. We hope to be back!

Family beach retreat
Great time - condo is located very close to the beach club pool and the beach. Kids loved the lazy river and the pool. Plenty of room in the condo and having 2 bathrooms was great. Wonderful stay!

Close to beach - make sure you pack essentials!
We stay in VRBO properties all the time. This is the very first one that did not have basic necessities. No pot holders, no dish towels, no dish rags, no paper towels, no hair dryer, no chairs on patio as pictured, blinds in guest bedroom are all tied up so you can't get any privacy in that room. It just felt neglected. I'm not sure when the owner last stayed but you can tell it's not a priority for them. They ask you to clean if you spill yet they don't leave you anything to clean with. Quite a few maintenance repairs left 50% complete. We actually emailed the Vacasa people twice with no response. Just know if you rent this place you are on your own! The location is perfect and community pool is amazing!

We really enjoyed our stay at Pointe West and Seas the Day. The amenities were great, a very short walk to everything we needed! The view from the balcony was wonderful, unfortunately the deck chairs were broken, but that didn't stop us from enjoying the balcony. The beach is very clean and a short walk. We will definitely be back!

Exactly as expected.
I expected a clean and well maintained condo and that’s what we got. Ive stayed at Pointe West previously but was excited to have a condo close to the clubhouse. I had read prior reviews about it not being cleaned well and brought my own supplies just in case. I never used them. I’m a bit of a clean freak so that’s saying something. The condo is stocked with a laughable amount of toilet paper. Stacks on stacks. Renter beware, it’s 1ply. There were 3 dishwashing packs (not enough for 5 people staying 5 days) and laundry soap. The kitchen was my only complaint and it’s not a big one. There was one mixing bowl, dull knives, and almost nothing to cook in. I also suggest packing some hand soap. They do provide a small dishwashing soap and bar soap, but it wasn’t enough for hand washing and bathing. There are plenty of towels provided and bedding for the pull out couch. Overall, I’d certainly rent here again!

Great condo, great trip!
We took a mini vacation with the kiddos and booked this condo at the last minute and we loved it! The condo was clean, nicely furnished, easy to find and get into. It was steps from the beach and pool. I wish the pool had been heated a little but that was our fault for wanting to swim when the weather was starting to get cooler. The only complaint I had was with the beach club, not the condo. We have a big truck and the parking spot was right next to a pole. We arrived late and didn't read every sign especially the one that said no backing trucks into parking spots, that was our fault. But the beach club people put a sticker on our drivers side window that was basically a packing label and it was very hard to get off. My husband was very mad about it. They could have just stuck a paper under out windshield wiper. Other than that, our experience and our trip was amazing! Will definitely be renting this condo again when it is available for future trips!

Great place!
This resort type condo is magnificent! Combines everything you need for a super comfy stay, plus a pool bar and restaurant, BBQ installation - no street to cross to go to the beach. Jake was wonderful and always available for us. We will be back for sure!

Awesome - fealt like we were alone on the beach
Great location and stay. The area was super clean, wait staff at the pool and security on the grounds. We went for the beach and it was groomed on tuesdays - surf was good but there were only 2 other families on the beach. You almost fealt alone - kids loved running up and down the beach and no one cared ! This area is fairly remote so stop and shop beforehand. We did have to make a run - there is a small store that had a few things we needed. Be prepared to pay $10 per person to use the pool - but it’s clean and they provide security so keeps things private. Perfect accommodations and parking spot in shade was awesome.

Whole family loved it and never wanted to leave!
We will be back! What a great place to stay. We felt right at home and didn't want to leave. You can tell the owners really thought out this property and designed everything so well. I'm super OCD and usually have a hard time with rentals with regards to cleanliness. I brought everything prepared to clean and use my own bedding and towels. To my surprise everything was spotless and I didn't feel compelled to do a thing except enjoy my vacation. Yea! First time ever and we usually stay at four star resorts. We all decided this was the best vacation and we can't wait to return. So relaxing and close to the amenities at Pointe West. Thank you Seas the Day! We did ;)
