"This was exactly what we needed after a week of camping on our road trip - this place is so lovely, from the cabin itself (inside and out), to the big trees surrounding it, the pathway through the forest, the delicious breakfast and coffee, and of course the most relaxing bath/shower outside. Tara was so welcoming and was helpful highlighting spots around the island. Would highly recommend and we hope to visit again soon! "

"We enjoyed this property for 2 weeks in June-July, including the Canada day holiday. Large covered deck overlooking tidal lagoon is very relaxing. Enjoyed the Canada Day events in Sidney and riding bikes to Swartz Bay ferries for day trips. We may well return next summer. If we go again we would check tide table ahead of time for afternoon paddleboarding. Interior of property comfortable. "

"Lovely suite in a beautiful neighborhood! The garden and yard were stunning! The entry was private, the bed was comfy and the linens, towels and robes were lovely! A bit of upstairs noise at times and no sink in the kitchenette was a bit challenging but we made it work! Definitely loved having a beautiful spot to land after being out enjoying the beauty of the Cowichan Valley. "
