The room was spacious and clean, the bed was very comfortable however the check in process was bizarre.
Firstly, right before our stay I notice the hotel is listed as permanently closed on Google and it is not taking any bookings on Expedia. I message the property to confirm but there is no response - I had not received any response to any of my earlier messages either.
On arrival, we find the building but there is no signage. We walk in and it’s empty, no people and no staff. We find someone and they tell us to go to Radisson Blu to check in.
We walk to Radisson Blu and check in, everything is smooth and fine.
We go back to Radisson Red building, find our room and that was fine.
The room itself was spacious and clean. The bed was large and comfortable.
What we did find odd was that there was only a bathtub in the bathroom. No shower. The bathtub did have a detachable head but it was very awkward and uncomfortable to bathe. I’m not sure why a room would only be available with a tub and not a shower. This was not disclosed in the booking.
Overall our stay was fine. However if I knew I was in an unstaffed, empty hotel I would not have booked this. I had already paid so felt like I didn’t have a choice. It did not feel safe and especially as I would need to walk out to another hotel to reach reception.
I also found it unacceptable as the listing noted that it has 24/7 staffed reception. Overall, I am disappointed in the misleading listing.
